New to Grow
Hey there—I'm Mika, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who's here for real talk and real support for adults, teens, and couples right here in Southern California. I've spent years helping people work through tough life events like trauma, addictions, ADHD, burnout from high-pressure jobs, anxiety, depression, and rocky relationships. What I love most is seeing folks step into their strength and build the life they want—I'm here to walk that path with you, no judgment, just genuine care.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I begin with an introductory session where you can share your story and what you hope to gain from therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. You are always in control of what you share, and we will move forward in a way that honors your boundaries and nervous system. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful change while building on your strengths and resilience.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults, teens, and couples, specializing in EMDR, attachment-based work, ADHD support, executive burnout, addictions, and relationship challenges. My approach is structured, practical, and tailored to help you reduce symptoms, understand patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I keep things collaborative and straightforward: we team up in a safe, relaxed space to tackle what's bothering you right now while digging into the deeper stuff when it feels right. I often use EMDR for trauma because it helps process things quickly and effectively, plus practical tools for managing ADHD, staying sober, beating burnout, or strengthening your relationship. My style is warm, direct, and empowering.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help clients process trauma, ADHD-related distress, and many other negative or self-limiting thoughts that can feel stuck or overwhelming. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced to ensure clients feel safe and supported throughout the process. EMDR helps clients move beyond coping and toward lasting emotional relief and clarity.
