The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

A Dual-Lens Method: Structure and Depth My approach is distinguished by the way I balance immediate symptom relief with long-term healing. Skill-Building (CBT & DBT): For clients struggling with ADHD, anxiety, or depression, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide tangible tools for emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring. This offers immediate relief and actionable strategies for daily functioning. Root-Cause Exploration (Attachment & Narrative): Simultaneously, I employ Attachment-based and Narrative approaches to address the "why" behind persistent patterns. By exploring early relational wounds and externalizing the "problem" through storytelling, I help clients reclaim their identities from the labels of trauma or diagnosis. Specialized Advocacy and Result-Oriented Care What truly sets my practice apart is my ability to function as both a clinician and an advocate. For families of children with ADHD or teens facing school-based challenges, my results often include successful IEP facilitation. I bridge the gap between clinical therapy and academic success, ensuring that a child’s environment supports their mental health progress. Similarly, my background in coaching and employee development allows me to deliver specialized results for postgraduate students and professionals. My approach here is goal-oriented and proactive, focusing on burnout prevention and navigating high-pressure interpersonal dynamics in the workplace. Inclusive Excellence and Affirming Results My results are measured not just by symptom reduction, but by the restoration of dignity and self-worth in marginalized populations. Multicultural Competence: Working with LGBTQ+, formally incarcerated, and chronically homeless individuals requires a high degree of cultural humility. My practice is built on a foundation of "tact and sensitivity," ensuring that varied lifestyles are honored. Trauma-Informed Outcomes: For teens struggling with self-esteem or social media pressures, my approach yields a shift from social withdrawal to empowered connection. By normalizing the impact of minority stress and digital-age pressures, I help youth build an "earned" secure attachment to themselves and their community. Ultimately, my approach stands out because it treats the whole person within their whole context. Whether it is helping a child manage ADHD or a professional navigate a relationship crisis, my results are defined by clients who find the strength within themselves to define success.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is often someone seeking a balance between structure and empathy. Whether we are using Solution-Focused therapy to tackle a current crisis or Narrative approaches to heal from the past, I am positioned to help you navigate life’s most difficult transitions with resilience and tact. If your goal is to reclaim your narrative and improve your daily functioning, I am ready to partner with you. Based on my extensive clinical background and specialized training, I am uniquely positioned to serve clients across the lifespan who are navigating complex transitions, identity development, and the nuanced challenges of modern life. My practice is designed for those who require a therapist who is as adaptable and multifaceted as the lives they lead. I am particularly well-equipped to serve the following populations: Teens and Young Adults Navigating Modern Pressures I am an ideal fit for teenagers and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) who are struggling with the unique hurdles of the digital age. This includes those facing diminished self-esteem, social anxiety, and the exhausting "comparison culture" of social media. I help teens find their authentic voices while navigating the complexities of peer relationships and family dynamics. Whether a youth is struggling to be social or is feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of their digital footprint, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to build confidence and resilience. Children and Families Managing Neurodiversity I provide specialized support for children struggling with ADHD and associated behavioral challenges. My work goes beyond the therapy room; with my background in IEP facilitation, I am positioned to help families navigate the educational system to ensure their child’s needs are met. My goal is to empower children with self-regulation tools while helping parents foster a supportive, trauma-informed home environment. Individuals Facing Internal and Relational Conflict I serve adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, or significant changes in their personal and professional relationships. Whether you are navigating the end of a partnership, a shift in family structure, or professional burnout, I utilize a blend of Attachment-based and Solution-Focused therapy to help you heal and move forward. I am also uniquely positioned to support postgraduate and professional students who are managing the high-stakes pressure of career development alongside their mental health. The LGBTQ+ and S

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused therapy is a goal-oriented and strengths-based approach that helps you, the client, construct solutions for your challenges rather than dwelling on the problem's origins. As your therapist I will encourage the you to envision your desired future, often using techniques like the "miracle question" to clarify your goals . By focusing on exceptions to the problem and identifying existing strengths, you are empowered to leverage your own internal resources to create positive change. The intervention is collaborative and brief, emphasizing actionable steps the you can take between sessions to achieve your preferred outcome.

Humanistic

In our sessions, I will apply humanistic theory by focusing on your unique potential and your inherent capacity to make rational and positive choices for your own growth. I provide a foundation of unconditional positive regard, ensuring you feel fully accepted and supported without judgment as you share your experiences. We will focus on your present experiences and conscious feelings to help you achieve greater self-awareness and a stronger sense of self-actualization. My role is to act as a compassionate guide, using empathy to help you gain the self-awareness needed to find your own solutions and meaning in life.

Attachment-based

"In our sessions, we will explore your early childhood experiences to understand how your first bonds shaped the 'internal working model' you use to navigate closeness and conflict in your current relationships. By identifying your specific attachment style—whether it's secure, anxious, avoidant, or disorganized—we can uncover the roots of recurring patterns like a fear of abandonment or a tendency to withdraw when things get intimate. Our therapeutic relationship itself will serve as a 'secure base,' providing a safe, consistent environment. Ultimately, our goal is to help you move toward an 'earned' secure attachment, giving you the tools to regulate your emotions more effectively and build deeper, more fulfilling connections with the people in your life.

Family Therapy

In this approach, we look at your family as a single system, meaning that when one person experiences stress or change, it naturally ripples through and affects every other member of the household. Instead of focusing on just one person as the 'problem,' we will explore the recurring patterns and unspoken rules that keep the family stuck in certain cycles of conflict or distance. We may use tools like a genogram—a detailed family tree—to map out how behaviors or communication styles have been passed down through generations and influence your relationships today. Our goal is to help everyone understand their role in the family so you can work together to build healthier boundaries, clearer communication, and a more supportive environment for the whole system

Strength-Based

I use a strength-based therapy approach that focuses on what’s already working in your life, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. Together, we identify your existing skills, values, past successes, and personal resources, and use them as the foundation for change. Rather than viewing you through the lens of deficits or diagnoses, I see you as capable and resilient, with strengths that may be underused or overshadowed by current stressors. My role is to help you recognize these strengths and intentionally apply them to the challenges you’re facing. In sessions, this means we collaborate on goals that align with who you are and what matters most to you. We build on moments when you’ve coped effectively, explore exceptions to ongoing problems, and develop strategies that feel realistic and empowering. As therapy progresses, the focus shifts toward increasing confidence, autonomy, and self-trust, so you leave with tools and insights that support lasting change beyond the therapy room.
