In our first session, we will talk aboutyour in how you have feeling and engage in discussion why you might be feeling the way you are. This can help us begin our work. With that knowledge, we can also create your initial goals and ways of communication will be discussed. Most importantly, our initial contact will begin the process of the development of the therapeutic relationship and rapport.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to goal setting with clients is to focus upon defining what it is you want to accomplish in our work together. This includes effort to building trust and clarifying your needs. Collaboratively,we can develop how best to manifest positive change and devise way to track your progress.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I investigate each client's current experiences and developmental history in order to shed light on what is really going on internally. Then, we can utilize that insight for problem solving and positive behavioral change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT interventions to assist my clients in learning to understand their feelings, thoughts and behaviors. By bringing these to light, my clients learn how some of these can be impediments. However, this CBT investigation offers another and more positive way of understanding themselves.
