I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master’s degree at Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in Trauma and I have been practicing for over 7 years. I help people by providing them with coping skills when they are overwhelmed, assist them with building a “life worth living”, and help them with working through every day life stressors including: work, relationships, family difficulties.
In our first session together, we’ll start with a brief introduction, and then focus on some of the challenges that you are facing. We will talk about how things are going and then create a plan on what you would like to achieve. This will assist me with creating a unique and tailored treatment plan that will address your challenges and work through follow up session.
Having worked with a diverse population for over 9 years has helped me with developing many different modalities and skills to help you with achieving the life that you desire. We will help you with identifying some of the barriers to your successes and then create effective ways of processing the difficulties as they arise in order to help you feel like you are making progress.
I’m passionate about working with individuals who are navigating anxiety and/or depression—those who are doing their best to manage overwhelming emotions but feel like they just don’t have the right tools to truly move forward. Many of the people I work with feel stuck, exhausted, and hopeless, despite their efforts to feel better. They might be showing up for their responsibilities, supporting others, or trying to stay positive—but inside, it often feels like they’re barely holding it together. In our work together, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to unpack what’s really going on beneath the surface. We focus on understanding your emotional patterns, building tools that actually work for you, and reconnecting with your inner resilience. Healing isn’t about ‘fixing’ yourself—it’s about learning to be with yourself in a new way, one that’s grounded in compassion, clarity, and hope.
I have noticed that this therapeutic modality helps my clients with learning new skills that they can apply at every stage of their life and in any crisis situations/ difficulties that may arise.
I use a trauma informed lens to assist with helping understand certain behaviors that may arise due to traumatic events and create new ways of coping through the emotional overwhelm.
