My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

This approach focuses on exploring unconscious processes and past experiences to understand present behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. Psychodynamic therapists often work with clients to uncover and work through unresolved conflicts, emotional issues, and unconscious patterns that may be contributing to their current difficulties. They emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and provide a safe space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. The goal of psychodynamic therapy is to increase self-awareness, promote personal growth, and facilitate positive changes in behavior and relationships.

Mind-body approach

Therapists working with a mind-body approach help clients develop awareness of how their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations interact. They may use techniques like relaxation exercises, mindfulness meditation, breathwork, or movement practices to help clients regulate their physiological responses to stress and improve overall well-being. The goal of mind-body therapy is to promote integration and harmony between the mind and body, fostering a sense of wholeness and balance. By addressing both mental and physical aspects of health, clients can achieve greater resilience, self-awareness, and overall wellness.

I've been seeing Marlon for about a year now and he is hands down simply the best therapist I've ever worked with. He is thoughtful, intelligent, curious, challenging, non-judgmental, solution-oriented and very supportive. I've made great strides in my journey thanks to him and, although I have lots more work to do, I am thrilled to have him supporting me.
