Hi I'm Maggie! I would be honored to help you with whatever it is you are currently struggling with. I have been working in the field for over this 8 years now and have had other life experiences that have led me to what I consider sacred work. Some of my specialities include: anxiety, trauma / PTSD, SA, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, body image, shame / not feeling good about yourself, grief, chronic stress / tension headaches, post concussive syndrome, difficulty sleeping, transitioning to adulthood, job stress, relationship challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, and more. I received my Master's in Holistic Counseling Psychology at JFK University in San Jose.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session I will go over confidentiality and limits. I will let you know that this is confidential space for you to explore your inner thoughts and feelings. I would then invite you to tell me about yourself, your life, and what brings you to therapy. I would ask what your goals are for therapy, and if you didn't quite know, I would help you figure that out too. I would ask you if you have been to therapy before, what you found helpful / not helpful. It would be a lot of getting to know you, in a non-judgmental, and comforting space.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have always been fascinated by people and their unique experiences. Connecting with others and helping them find meaning in their lives brings me joy.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I attune to clients in deep and meaningful ways to work on the attachment styles, aiming to heal childhood wounds and to improve your ability to show up in your present and future relationships.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I help clients get to know and re-connect with the different parts of themselves (for example their inner child), so that all parts have a voice to get their needs met.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide unconditional positive regard for my clients because I believe that is the space in which we heal.

Somatic

I bring awareness to the body and the nervous system and help people gain awareness so they can learn to self-regulate more effectively throughout the day.

Psychoanalytic

I love using psychodynamics and psychoanalytics, classic "talk therapy", noticing patterns, helping clients gain more insight and awareness, and more!
