If you are navigating a major life transition, constantly fighting a wave of anxiety, or feeling stuck in repetitive relationship patterns, you don't have to carry it alone. You deserve a space where you can let your guard down without fear of judgment. I provide a warm, lighthearted, and deeply collaborative environment where we work entirely at your pace. Because traditional talk therapy doesn't always reach the root of deep-seated stress or trauma, I integrate evidence-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches—including EMDR, CBT, and Brainspotting—to help you heal from the inside out.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Identify and explore your attachment type to understand how it impacts you in relationships.

Brainspotting

Brain spotting utilizes different eye movements to process trauma verbally and/or non-verbally.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain process upsetting memories that feel "stuck," reducing their emotional power by having you focus briefly on the memory while following back-and-forth eye movements (or other stimulation). This process helps integrate the memory so it's less distressing and you can think about it differently, like a normal past event, allowing you to feel more present and less overwhelmed by triggers.

I have seen Raquel 2 times now and I really like that she thinks outside the box and helps me see things in a different way. She sees my self awareness and works with it instead of dismissing it. Raquel has been a true blessing and also brings humor to the conversation when I need a little laugh. I always want to dig deep and she is always up for the challenge. I love that she takes detailed notes so I do not need to repeat myself. Thank you Raquel :)
