Hi, and thanks for taking a moment to get to know me! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s in Multi-Cultural Counseling from SDSU (2018). I’m committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy for anyone seeking mental health support. My approach is rooted in building a trusting, open relationship where real growth and healing can happen. I work with children, teens, and adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, substance use, trauma, and PTSD. My goal is to help clients face these challenges with resilience, finding strength and clarity on their journey toward well-being and self-discovery. In therapy, clients can expect a personalized approach that honors their unique strengths, experiences, and goals. I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. Each method offers unique tools: CBT focuses on reshaping negative thinking patterns; DBT combines mindfulness and emotional regulation strategies; SFBT draws on clients' inherent strengths to foster positive change, while Psychodynamic Therapy helps clients uncover how past experiences shape present behaviors. Above all, I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life, and I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore, understand, and empower themselves. Whether through gentle guidance or active support, I am here to accompany each client on their journey towards self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth. It’s an honor to witness these transformations and to be a part of each client’s path toward a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other to lay the foundation for a trusting therapeutic relationship. Beyond addressing the specific concerns that bring you to therapy, I believe it’s essential to understand who you are and the values that motivate you. Together, we’ll identify meaningful, achievable goals that align with your unique needs and aspirations. This approach ensures that therapy is not only effective but also deeply personalized, supporting you every step of the way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take pride in building genuine connections that help you make meaningful changes. I bring honesty, presence, and a nonjudgmental approach to each session. You’re the expert on your own life, and my goal is to create a safe space where you can explore, understand, and feel empowered. I welcome your feedback to ensure our work truly meets your needs. Whether you’re looking for guidance or simply someone by your side, I’m here to support you on your path to self-acceptance, resilience, and growth. It’s a privilege to witness every step of your journey.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I support individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and difficult experiences with a compassionate and supportive approach. By honoring each client’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals, I strive to help you find clarity, build resilience, and rediscover a renewed sense of purpose.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help in identifying and addressing negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. By replacing these patterns with healthier thoughts and behaviors, clients develop coping strategies and achieve lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I employ Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop acceptance and change the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that lead to distress. My approach emphasizes teaching practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, and enhancing mindfulness. Through techniques such as mindfulness meditation, emotion regulation, interpersonal skills, and distress tolerance, DBT empowers individuals to build a more fulfilling life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I guide clients to identify their strengths and develop practical solutions to their challenges. Focusing on the present and future, I assist clients in envisioning their desired outcomes and taking concrete steps to achieve them. Through collaboration and empowerment, I aim to facilitate positive change and support clients in reaching their goals.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use person-centered therapy as a modality where the therapist meets the client where they are. Having a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space will be the foundation of my practice.
