Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in Orange County, California. I graduated from USC and have been practicing as a mental health professional for over 25 years. I have successfully worked with hundreds of children, adolescents and women in a variety of settings: schools, hospitals and out patient mental health clinics. I have extensive experience supervising other counselors and therapists and I was an Adjunct Lecturer at USC School of Social Worker where I taught multiple evidence based practices. With my expertise in so many evidence based practices, I can select effective interventions to best suit your unique needs and goals. Anxiety is a normal part of life but can make you feel so stuck. We work together to identify triggers, and the negative thoughts that can make you feel hopeless. I use of Mindfulness Based Practices, EMDR and Expressive Arts, Solution Focused Brief Therapy to empower you to overcome anxiety, gain insight, develop healthy relationships, and truly thrive in all areas of their life.
I was trained in 2012 in EMDR. I use grounding and resourcing techniques to help clients manage anxiety. I add a unique element by incorporating expressive arts.
