Are you a BIPOC, First Gen, or Queer adult? I help adults heal from guilt, shame, and the pressure to shrink themselves so they can feel more at peace with their sense of self. In therapy, we explore how your body and nervous system hold stress and relational patterns, helping you feel grounded, connected, and safer in yourself and your relationships. I offer virtual therapy across California and a limited number of in-person sessions in Torrance, CA once per week. You’re welcome to reach out through my website to see if this type of support might feel right for you through booking a consultation.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first sessions, we will explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out of our time together. We’ll talk through your goals, explore patterns, and begin to build trust.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I recognize that your experiences are shaped by more than just what’s happening right now—your history, identity, and cultural background all matter here. I don’t come in with a list of things to “fix,” and Instead I walk alongside you as you begin to better understand your emotions, set boundaries, and start trusting yourself—especially if that’s something you were never taught to do.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who are carrying the weight of family expectations, cultural pressures, and systemic stress. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, dating cycles, or feeling stuck in toxic relationship patterns—and often haven’t had a safe space to explore where those patterns come from. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirmative care, supporting queer and questioning clients in exploring their gender or sexual identity—whether you’re just starting to ask questions or looking to deepen your sense of pride and peace in who you are.
Attachment-based
Through increasing a client's understanding in the connection between how past experiences have shaped how they interact with others, allows for growth towards a healthier relationship within themselves and in familial relationships, friendships, and romantic relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Through increasing a client's understanding in the connection between how anxiety and negative beliefs surfaces in different areas of their life, allows us to work together in therapy to work through these different beliefs, understand them, and move towards tools to gain control over them.
Somatic
Somatic therapy helps increase awareness of physical sensations and nervous system responses to support regulation and emotional safety. By addressing how the body holds stress, emotions, and relational patterns, this approach supports holistic mental health and deeper self connection.
