In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, reviewing the limits to confidentiality and practice policies, then dive into the specific challenges that you're facing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in our follow-up sessions as well.
Caitlin believes that therapy is a Wellness journey. She is passionate about holistic health. Caitlin stands by the fact that change does not "magically" occur overnight. There is often adversity, resiliency, and grit on the path to growth. This is required to build tolerance, and for transformation to occur. Therefore, Caitlin’s approach to therapy is warm, creative, humorous, and authentic. Leaving “perfections” behind to explore who you are intended to be is part of her philosophy. She believes that client's should “come as they are." Having a genuine connection, and safe space during sessions. Caitlin welcomes the full human experience of emotions. Celebrating “small wins,” and specifically growth during the course of working together.
Caitlin’s path to becoming a Mental Health Practitioner was inspired by her passion for Wellness and overcoming health challenges. Now Caitlin hopes to help others through inspiring growth, hope, and transformation for ones wellness journey. Caitlin warmly welcomes the opportunity to work with female clients exploring peer relationships, life adjustments, stressors, and specific Women's Wellness concerns.
Experience with Christian faith integration and mental wellbeing. Best suited for active Christian clients wanting to add and further explore their faith values in their mental health journey.
CBT based techniques help decrease anxiety and stress in patients. Giving a more "organized" and "structured" format to sessions can also help. We will explore the "ANT's" (automative negative thought patterns/process) that clients present with to increase a more positive perspective instead. Increasing healthier coping skills to enhance one's quality of life.
Similar to Christian Counseling, this allows your Christian faith to be present and openly discussed in sessions as it relates to present symptoms and clinical concerns.
I believe that the client is the expert of their life. I meet the client right where they are at and collaboratively explore their goals for treatment. As their Practitioner, I can extend my support and compassion during their journey in sessions.
