LMFT, 8 years of experience
Hello! My name is Caitlin, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in stress, anxiety, life transitions, Ecotherapy (walk-and-talk), and PCOS-related hormone concerns. My approach is rooted in holistic health, and I integrate wellness coaching into treatment to support clients in achieving balance and resilience. I primarily work with young women who want to discover their authentic selves and unlock their full potential for optimal well-being. For those who desire it, I also welcome faith integration as part of the therapeutic process. In sessions, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Positive Psychology, Sports Psychology, and Solution-Focused techniques to encourage growth and lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction, review confidentiality limits and practice policies, and go over the intake measures you completed to better understand the challenges you’re facing. This process helps us create a tailored treatment plan to guide our future sessions. The first four sessions are primarily focused on laying the foundation—clarifying your goals and building a strong therapeutic relationship. During this time, we’ll also evaluate our fit in working together. If it becomes clear that a higher level of care or a different provider would better support your needs, I will provide referrals. Referrals may be issued through the Grow Therapy matching team, or, if you prefer, to a provider outside of Grow for a smooth transition of care.
I believe therapy is a wellness journey—one rooted in holistic health and authentic growth. Meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight; it often requires resilience, grit, and the ability to navigate adversity. My therapeutic approach is warm, creative, humorous, direct, and authentic. Often dressed in athleisure and drawn to nature for its grounding and healing atmosphere, I embody what I encourage in my clients: letting go of perfection and exploring who you are truly meant to be. I invite clients to come as they are, fostering genuine connections where the full spectrum of emotions is welcomed. I celebrate small wins and honor the growth that unfolds throughout the therapeutic process. Clients who commit to consistency often see the greatest progress. At times, therapy may feel as though things are getting “worse” before they get better. This is a natural part of the process—emotions surface, insights deepen, and healing begins to take shape. My role is not to “fix” clients, but to walk alongside them. I collaborate, provide support, and integrate wellness coaching that empowers autonomy and builds resilience—key ingredients for true transformation. I believe in striving for progress, not perfection. My philosophy centers on creating a safe, authentic space where clients can be fully themselves, experience the depth of their emotions, and step into meaningful change with confidence and compassion.
My path to becoming a Mental Health Practitioner was inspired by my passion for Wellness, Athletics, and overcoming personal health challenges. Now I hope to help others through inspiring growth, optimism, autonomy, and transformation on their unique wellness journey. 1.) Ecotherapy (Walk-and-Talk) appointments are provided in-person for clients residing in Orange County, California who appreciate the healing environment of nature. Initial intake appointment will be Telehealth video format to ensure suitability. Walk-and-Talk details will be confirmed during this time for the meeting point thereafter. Will discuss location convenience at various parks, walking trails, or beaches. 2.) Telehealth (virtual) appointments are suited for the autonomous client residing across California with less severe concerns. Intake appointment is video format and audio/phone calls thereafter.
Best suited for clients wanting a safe space to process their personal faith values in their Mental Health journey.
CBT-based techniques help decrease anxiety and stress by providing a more organized format to sessions. Together, we’ll explore the ANTs—automatic negative thoughts you experience—and work to shift patterns toward a more positive perspective. This process supports the development of healthier coping skills and enhances overall quality of life.
I believe that the client is the expert of their own life. I come along side and meet clients where they are at and collaboratively explore treatment goals. At any point assessing and adding additional referrals for their higher level of care if needed. As a Practitioner, I offer support and compassion throughout ones journey in therapy.
Building strengths, resilience, and well-being. I help clients cultivate more gratitude, explore mindfulness, and develop meaning. Emphasizing what’s working—supporting clients in creating healthier connections, and boosting emotional resilience. Not just focusing on what’s stressful or painful— but helping you build on your strengths, values, and the parts of life that bring you joy. Positive Psychology is about fostering resilience, confidence, and deeper meaning in your daily life and positive outlook. Together, we’ll focus on what’s working, while also creating practical steps to move through challenges with more hope and balance.

Caitlin was amazing! She was able to hear me process my thoughts as well as provide feedback. Oftentimes, all we want to someone to not only hear us but see us and Caitlin did that for me. I’m looking forward to our future sessions and really dig deep into getting a better understanding of my thoughts, feelings and navigating through them that’s beneficial for not only me but all those placed in my path.
