About me

Hi there! My name is Caitlin, I'm a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working with low acuity young women to navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, women's wellness, and the emotional impact of hormonal imbalances such as PCOS. My therapeutic approach is authentic, holistic, strengths-based, and grounded in positive psychology. I integrate wellness coaching and Christian faith, when desired, to support lasting well-being. Please note that I do not specialize in treating depression, LGBTQ, trauma, or any additional severe acuity at this time. Referrals for these specialized needs can be made accordingly with the grow matching team. Thank you!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first intake session, we’ll meet via video and begin with a brief introduction, review any limits of confidentiality, go over practice policies online, and discuss the intake forms you’ve completed prior so I can better understand the challenges you’re facing. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan—serving as a roadmap for our work together. The first four sessions are still building the foundation: clarifying your goals, establishing the therapeutic relationship, and ensuring we are a good fit. During this phase, we’ll also assess whether my services are the best match for your needs. If at any point during the duration of treatment it becomes clear that a higher level of care, specialist, medication management, or a different provider would better support you, I will gladly discuss this together and provide you with suitable referrals as needed.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic style is authentic, nonjudgmental, and grounded in progress over perfection. I also integrate Ecotherapy through walk-and-talk sessions and outdoor Telehealth when desired, offering opportunities for movement, reflection, and emotional processing. Clients who are interested and able are welcome to join me virtually outdoors. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you. I collaborate, support, and integrate positive psychology to foster autonomy and resilience. At the core of my work is a belief in progress, not perfection. This is an authentic space where you can be fully yourself and take steps toward growth with self-compassion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client's are low acuity, Christian young women ages 18-39 who are navigating generalized anxiety, stress, life transitions, adjustment concerns, or the emotional impact of hormonal imbalances (such as PCOS). I have a focus in my practice on women's wellness for my patients. My therapeutic approach is authentic, holistic, strengths-based, and grounded in positive psychology. I integrate wellness coaching and Christian faith, when desired, to support lasting well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical tools to create healthier perspectives and meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Therapy focuses on where you want to go rather than staying stuck in the problem. We'll identify your strengths, build on what's already working, and create practical steps toward the changes you want to make.

Compassion Focused

Compassion-Focused Therapy helps you develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself. We'll work on reducing self-criticism, building emotional resilience, and learning to respond to life's challenges with greater gratitude, and self-compassion.

Supportive

Supportive Therapy provides a safe, encouraging space to process what you're experiencing without judgment. I'll help you navigate challenges, strengthen your coping skills, and feel more supported as you move through life's transitions.

Caitlin was amazing! She was able to hear me process my thoughts as well as provide feedback. Oftentimes, all we want to someone to not only hear us but see us and Caitlin did that for me. I’m looking forward to our future sessions and really dig deep into getting a better understanding of my thoughts, feelings and navigating through them that’s beneficial for not only me but all those placed in my path.
