About me

Hello! My name is Caitlin, I am a board-licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMFT) specializing in stress, anxiety, life adjustments, Ecotherapy (walk-and-talk), and PCOS (hormone imbalance concerns). I focus primarily on holistic health and can offer clients support as a Wellness Coach in my approach to treatment. I primarily work with young women who want to discover their authentic selves and unlock their true potential for optimal well-being. Additionally, I welcome faith integration and use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, Person-Centered, Positive Psychology, Sports Psychology, and Solution-Focused techniques for growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction, then review any confidentiality limits, practice policies, and the intake measures you completed to explore the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help create a more tailored treatment plan for us to work on in your future sessions. Additionally, we will explore our suitability moving forward. See the first 4 sessions as still setting a foundation for your goals and building rapport together. If needed, referrals will be made for either a higher level of care, or a better suited provider for you- this will be issued to the Grow Therapy matching team for your continued care unless you have a provider outside of Grow you'd like to transition with instead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that Therapy is a Wellness journey and feel passionate about holistic health. I acknowledge that change doesn’t happen “magically” overnight- it often involves adversity, resilience, and grit. Client's who commit to consistency often see the most growth. Therapy initially can feel as if things are getting "worse" before better. This is normal and due to more emotions surfacing, greater insight/awareness, and beginning to talk and work through it all. My role as a Clinician is not to "fix" clients. Rather, I collaboratively work with client's and share wellness coaching for their autonomy. Essential for building resilience, allowing true transformation to occur. My approach to therapy is warm, creative, humorous, direct, and authentic. This philosophy encourages leaving "perfection" behind to explore who you are truly meant to be. Strive for progress and consistency not perfection. Overall, I believe client's should “come as they are,” by fostering a genuine connection and a safe space during sessions. Lastly, I welcome the full human experience of emotions, celebrating small wins and growth throughout the therapeutic process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My path to becoming a Mental Health Practitioner was inspired by my passion for Wellness, Athletics, and overcoming personal health challenges. Now I hope to help others through inspiring growth, optimism, personal agency/autonomy, and transformation on their unique wellness journey. Ecotherapy (Walk-and-Talk) appointments are provided in-person for clients residing in Southern California who appreciate the healing environment of nature. Telehealth (audio/virtual) appointments are suited for the autonomous client residing across California with less severe concerns.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

Best suited for clients wanting a safe space to process their personal faith values in their Mental Health journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT-based techniques help decrease anxiety and stress by providing a more organized format to sessions. Together, we’ll explore the ANTs—automatic negative thoughts you experience—and work to shift patterns toward a more positive perspective. This process supports the development of healthier coping skills and enhances overall quality of life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that the client is the expert of their own life. I come along side and meet clients where they are at and collaboratively explore treatment goals. At any point assessing and adding additional referrals for their higher level of care if needed. As a Practitioner, I offer support and compassion throughout ones journey in therapy.

Positive Psychology

Building strengths, resilience, and well-being. I help clients cultivate more gratitude, explore mindfulness, and develop meaning. Emphasizing what’s working—supporting clients in creating healthier connections, and boosting emotional resilience. Not just focusing on what’s stressful or painful— but helping you build on your strengths, values, and the parts of life that bring you joy. Positive Psychology is about fostering resilience, confidence, and deeper meaning in your daily life and positive outlook. Together, we’ll focus on what’s working, while also creating practical steps to move through challenges with more hope and balance.

Caitlin was amazing! She was able to hear me process my thoughts as well as provide feedback. Oftentimes, all we want to someone to not only hear us but see us and Caitlin did that for me. I’m looking forward to our future sessions and really dig deep into getting a better understanding of my thoughts, feelings and navigating through them that’s beneficial for not only me but all those placed in my path.
