Hi, I’m Natalie — a warm, collaborative therapist who works with young adults to older adult clients navigating life’s emotional and mental health challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, or major life transitions, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Person-Centered care. This means I tailor our work to your unique needs while offering tools to help you build resilience, improve relationships, and feel more in control of your emotional well-being. As someone who has personally overcome mental health challenges, I bring deep empathy and real-life perspective to the therapy process. I know how overwhelming it can feel — and how transformative therapy can be when it’s rooted in trust, connection, and practical change. Together, we’ll work at your pace to create a path toward healing and growth. You don’t have to go through this alone.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you—what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and what matters most to you. We’ll explore your current challenges, personal history, and any goals you may already have in mind. I take a gentle, collaborative approach, so you’ll never be pressured to share more than you’re comfortable with. Think of it as a conversation where you can begin telling your story at your own pace. This session also gives you a chance to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. I’ll explain my approach and how I believe we can work together to support your growth and well-being. My intention is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free—where you can begin to feel seen, heard, and empowered. Most importantly, this is your space, and we'll go at a pace that feels right for you.
My greatest strengths lie in creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring a calm and compassionate presence to each session, helping clients feel safe to explore even the most difficult parts of their experience. My approach blends evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, and positive psychology with a person-centered, collaborative style. What makes me unique is that I don’t just bring clinical expertise—I also bring lived experience. I’ve navigated my own mental health challenges, and I know firsthand how transformative therapy can be when it’s grounded in trust, empathy, and practical tools. This perspective helps me connect with clients on a deeper level and truly understand what it’s like to face internal struggles while trying to move forward in life. Clients often share that they feel deeply validated and encouraged in our work together, and they appreciate my ability to gently challenge them while offering genuine care and insight.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes in their lives. I work best with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, or issues with self-worth. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where healing and personal growth can unfold. Many of my clients are thoughtful, motivated, open to learning new tools to manage life more effectively as well as ready.
I create a warm and nonjudgmental space where my clients feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. I focus on building their strengths and resilience by offering encouragement, validation, and practical coping strategies. Throughout the session, I remain present and attentive, reinforcing their sense of self-worth and helping them feel understood and empowered.
I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that contribute to their emotional distress. Together, we explore how these thoughts influence their feelings and behaviors, and we work to reframe them into more balanced and realistic perspectives. I also guide clients in practicing new coping skills and behavioral strategies to support lasting change in their daily lives.
