I, truly, believe there is no "one size fits all" to therapy, so I tailor the therapy experience to match your individual and unique needs. I'll support you in your healing journey as your "co-pilot" to help you navigate difficult emotional terrain. I aim to meet you where you are and allow you, the expert of your own lived experience, to take the driver's seat, while serving as your sound board in the passenger seat, gently pointing out your blind spots, to help you identify the best path to wellness and fulfillment for a quality life that aligns with your values.
When working with clients, I implement a strengths-based framework and provide case-management linkages to appropriate community resources, as well as psycho-education on the nervous system, attachment, schemas and inner child work. You'll walk away from sessions with a better understanding of your presenting symptoms, as well as the root cause, how they manifest physiologically, cognitively and in your relationships, including adaptive tools to initiate change.
I take a collaborative, person-in-environment approach to help you manage, reduce and, ultimately, relieve concerning symptoms. I also believe in an integrative model and utilize a blend of CBT, DBT, ACT, Attachment Theory and Inner Child Work to ensure clients walk away with tangible tools and adaptive interventions they can continue to apply to their every day lives post therapy.
