Welcome! As a bilingual Chicana LCSW, I provide a supportive space (un espacio de confianza) where you can explore challenges, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. As a Chicana/Latina therapist, cultural humility and honoring the whole person are central to my work. I especially value supporting individuals from diverse and underserved communities, including the Latinx population, as they navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a Chicana daughter of immigrant parents with a BA in Chicano Studies, my calling to therapy is deeply personal. I witnessed the resilience and unique struggles within our community, which inspires me to provide a space where you feel truly seen, empowering you to heal, break generational cycles, and thrive. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, helping clients build practical tools while feeling seen, heard, and understood. Together, we will build on your strengths, honoring your story while developing practical tools to overcome life’s challenges, reduce stress, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life and relationships.

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Sierra, and I am a California-based licensed Psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience supporting adults as they navigate life's challenges. My passion is helping people not only understand themselves more deeply, but also make lasting positive changes. I take a holistic approach to therapy that supports the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This often includes strategies such as nervous system education, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), somatic healing, and when helpful, collaboration with integrative providers like nutritionists. I also draw from additional evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, while paying close attention to how stress or trauma may show up in the body. In our work together, we’ll create a personalized plan that blends insight, practical tools, and meaningful action. My goal is to provide a space where you feel truly seen and supported, and where therapy becomes not just about coping with challenges, but about moving toward the life you most want to live.

Hello there, I'm Susie. I'm a bilingual therapist who speaks English and Spanish. I have specialized training in Art Therapy and EMDR. In my work with individuals and groups, I am compassionate, collaborative, culturally sensitive and creative. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. As humans, we create patterns and behaviors that may no longer be helpful for us when navigating relationships in our life. This can feel stressful, helpless, and anxiety provoking. Having space to acknowledge and talk about what is happening in your life can help relieve the intensity of those feelings and can help create new patterns and behaviors.

Hi, hello, howdy! Fancy seeing you here. I suppose this is the part where I share if you'd be my "optimal client" but I would rather let you decide if you feel like I would be your “optimal" therapist. My therapeutic focus is increasing awareness of environments and everyday situations, opening one’s perception of life choices, and intensifying feelings of empowerment and liberation in our work together. My ACT/Solution- Focused style is interactive and fun while honoring my client’s relationships, helping them discover what is truly needed from these relationships and inspiring them to live authentically. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience in providing mental health services. I have a B.S. in Social Work from Sacramento State and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of San Francisco. I am certified in Mental Health Nutrition via PESI, and have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as well as Trauma Focused-CBT. I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health (2 years), a group practice setting (2 years), and in a university health center (currently for over 1 year now) with a very wide variety of age ranges, presenting concerns, and communities. I feel that these experiences have given me a broad and rich overview of the human experience across the lifespan and have made me a better practitioner. Currently, I am an LMFT at CSU Sacramento in their health & wellness center on-campus supporting college students with their mental health, and conducting telehealth private practice via Grow during the evenings Monday-Thursday. In my free time I enjoy international travel with my Husband & going to live pop music concerts

I help adults who look like they’re holding it together on the outside, but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same relationship patterns on the inside. We’ll work on stress management, emotional regulation, communication, and the deeper “why” behind your reactions—so you feel more grounded, confident, and consistent in daily life. My style is warm, structured, and down-to-earth. You don’t need perfect words—just a willingness to show up. I use CBT/DBT/ACT tools for practical change, and I can integrate deeper work (Brainspotting/IFS) when it’s a good fit. I also create a dedicated space for men—especially men of color—who want to explore masculinity, culture, identity, and relationships without judgment.

I’m Arturo, and I’m honored you’re here. My work as a therapist is grounded in resilience, compassion, and deep respect for the courage it takes to ask for support. After 24 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, including combat deployments, I transitioned into clinical work, earning a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (MFT) from Pepperdine University. For the past four years, I’ve worked with underrepresented communities, supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. I’m especially committed to creating a safe, confidential space where men can speak openly—man to man—about the challenges we often carry silently. I also work with couples using Gottman‑informed approaches to improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional relief, or stronger relationships, I offer practical tools, steady support, and a collaborative path toward healing and meaningful change.

I provide a warm and genuine atmosphere and understand that “one size does not fit all." I'll do my best to meet you where you are and really get to know you and your specific concerns. I treat the whole person to maximize growth. Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind. Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. In our sessions, fidgeting is encouraged, eye contact is optional, and your unique way of processing the world is celebrated, not 'fixed.' I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours. If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

I run Unscripted Therapy, a practice focused on helping people break out of stuck patters. I work with individuals who are tired of having the same conversations and somehow ending up right back where they started. Whether it’s anxiety, stress, or relationship patterns that keep repeating, something isn’t working—and at this point, that’s pretty clear. My approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on actually changing what’s not working. I’m not going to just sit there nodding while you vent and then ask how that made you feel for the tenth time. We’ll figure out what’s keeping you stuck and start doing something different about it. Therapy with me is honest, practical, and yes—sometimes a little blunt. But it’s also real. If you’re looking for something that actually helps you move forward (not just talk about why you’re stuck), we’ll probably be a good fit.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes. Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers. Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship. I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.

Hi, I’m Kristen—Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience supporting high-achieving women and young professionals who are navigating burnout, career transitions, and the pressure to “hold it all together.” Many of my clients are driven, capable, and successful on paper—but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from the life they’ve built. They’re often at a turning point: ready to pivot careers, grow a business, or redefine what success actually means for them. My approach is collaborative, direct, and results-oriented. I combine evidence-based therapy with practical strategy to help you regulate stress, gain clarity, and make confident, aligned decisions—without spending years in therapy. This work is about more than insight; it’s about creating real momentum in your life and career. You can expect a space where you’re both supported and challenged—where you don’t have to perform, but you also won’t stay stuck. Together, we’ll move you out of burnout and into a more grounded, intentional way of living and working. For those who value faith as part of their healing, I also offer a nondenominational, faith-integrated approach rooted in compassion, purpose, and spiritual alignment. Whether you’re building something new, questioning your next move, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again—this is a space to reset, realign, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I have been in the psychology field for over 20 years now. I love what I do and helping every client become successful. The relationship between the client(s) and myself is important in achieving the goals we set together. How our past experiences have influenced our current lives is a key issue. I feel that support systems in our daily lives are important to examine. The issues of separation, loss, freedom, dependence and independence are crucial to examine as one leaves home and parental influences. I work with individuals, couples, teens and families. Every session is different because every client is different, as are their problems. I'll encourage you to talk and explore, in a structured way, your feelings and experiences. Whatever the technique or clinical approach, psychotherapy is not a magical cure, it is a process to help you find the capacity for improvement within yourself. Psychotherapy aims to help you gain insight into your difficulties or distress and enable you to find more appropriate ways of coping or bring about changes in your thinking and behavior. Psychotherapy involves exploring feelings, beliefs, thoughts and events, sometimes from childhood, in a structured way to help you do it safely. I have a website that has 16 courses on it for you to do self paced sessions. I also have book I wrote on that website. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human relationship. My goal is to create an environment where you feel accepted, challenged, and supported—not judged. I'll celebrate your successes with you, help you make sense of the difficult moments, and gently point out the patterns that may be holding you back. I bring curiosity, humor, and compassion into my work because meaningful growth doesn't have to happen in a room that feels cold or intimidating.

Do you feel like nothing you do is ever right or that you have to put yourself last to make sure everyone else in your life is taken care of? Maybe you’ve been struggling with self-criticism or setting appropriate boundaries, either with yourself or with others. Life is hard enough without us getting in our own way. You deserve to live a life that is in line with your values or priorities; a life filled with joy and success, however, you want to define it. I help people see their potential and to use their strengths to make changes in their lives. I also help people learn to live in the present moment and to find peace in the current situations they find themselves in. I work with older teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, eating disorders, assertiveness/boundary setting, self-criticism, and family/relationship conflicts. I use a blend of many different therapy approaches; my focus is on finding what works for you. I only see clients over video so that therapy can happen around your busy life and in a place where you feel comfortable. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I graduated with my master’s degree in social work in 2016. I also hold bachelor's degrees in psychology and multicultural queer studies. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games with friends, and watching the waves at the beach near my home.

I specialize in holding space for the deep-thinkers and cycle-breakers, the individuals who have spent a lifetime looking inward and dismantling generational patterns, yet still feel the friction of a world demanding 'more' at the expense of 'being.' My approach combines a lifelong passion for psychology and therapeutic processes with a multicultural, spiritually grounded worldview. As a mother, a doctoral candidate, and a business owner, I don't just teach boundaries; I live them. I am a 'Keturah-sized' bridge in the wellness gap for those who have cycled through therapists searching for a peer who truly sees them. Together, we intentionally move past the '15 tasks by yesterday' mentality and into a strategic, soul-deep architecture of rest, healing, and expansion.

All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun. My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

Are you tired of being the emotional project manager in your relationships? Do you find yourself over-explaining, over-giving, or over-functioning for people you love? Are you the peacekeeper… even when it costs you your voice? Do you stay calm on the outside while mentally writing resignation letters from relationships? Well hello — I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re the woman who looks capable on the outside but feels stretched thin, overwhelmed, or quietly exhausted on the inside, you’re in the right place. I’m Katrina, a Christian therapist who works with high-achieving women navigating relationship shifts, workplace stress, and the pressure of holding it all together. My work blends evidence-based approaches like Compassion-Focused Therapy and CBT with faith-centered values, creating a space where you don’t have to choose between emotional healing and your spiritual beliefs. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you slow down, set healthier boundaries, untangle the mental noise, and reconnect with who you are beneath the expectations and responsibilities. This is a place where you can stop performing, be honest, and feel supported as you move toward clarity, peace, and purpose. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands both your ambition and your faith, I’d love to walk alongside you. Let’s turn survival mode into sustainable growth — and help you feel grounded, confident, and hopeful again. Schedule an appointment today, and let’s take the next step together.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in California. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across California from San Francisco to San Diego! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in California.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Career Counseling, is filtering therapists in California that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
