I am a warm, collaborative therapist who is passionate about helping people feel more understood, supported, and empowered in their lives. I work with clients to navigate stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and emotional overwhelm by combining evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, personalized style. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to support lasting change and emotional resilience. I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies to help clients build self-awareness, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and move toward meaningful, achievable goals. I value collaboration and meet clients where they are, recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and that each person’s journey is unique. I also have a strong interest in working with athletes, particularly those navigating major transitions such as career-ending injuries. I understand how deeply identity, purpose, and emotional well-being can be impacted when an athletic career changes or comes to an unexpected end. I support athletes in processing grief, rebuilding confidence, redefining identity beyond sport, and creating a renewed sense of direction and fulfillment. My approach emphasizes resilience, self-compassion, and helping clients reconnect with their strengths as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, welcoming environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, personal history, goals for therapy, and any challenges or strengths that feel important to share. I will also explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and review important information such as confidentiality and the therapy process so you feel informed and comfortable. This session is collaborative, supportive, and guided by your comfort level, allowing you to share at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore what feels most important. Together, we will begin identifying your priorities, clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy, and developing an initial understanding of the patterns or challenges you are experiencing. This process helps us build a strong foundation for meaningful, goal-oriented work while ensuring that therapy feels aligned with your needs and values from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be authentic and understood, while also offering practical, goal-oriented strategies that support meaningful change. I balance empathy with gentle challenge, helping clients gain insight into patterns that may be holding them back while building concrete skills to improve emotional regulation, communication, and self-confidence. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT and solution-focused therapy, tailoring interventions to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often appreciate my collaborative style, ability to meet them where they are, and focus on helping them develop lasting tools they can apply outside of session to support long-term growth and resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating significant life transitions and are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, negative self-talk, relationship challenges, or difficulties adjusting to new phases of life. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection, interested in developing practical coping tools, and motivated to build healthier patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also enjoy working with athletes, particularly those coping with injury, identity shifts, or career-ending transitions, and individuals seeking to rebuild confidence, rediscover purpose, and strengthen emotional resilience. Clients who are looking for a supportive, collaborative therapeutic relationship focused on growth, self-compassion, and achievable goals tend to benefit most from my approach.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate CBT techniques to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, increase awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies that support meaningful change. I often use cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure-based strategies when appropriate, and skills-building interventions tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) into my practice as a strengths-based, goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify existing resources, clarify desired outcomes, and move toward meaningful change in a practical and efficient way. Rather than focusing primarily on problems or past difficulties, I guide clients in recognizing exceptions, highlighting successes, and building on what is already working in their lives.
