Hi, I’m Patricia Samantha Bitar, a holistic EMDR therapist devoted to helping you reconnect with your emotional truth, inner wisdom, and personal peace. With a warm, grounded approach, I create nurturing spaces where healing becomes possible through insight, empathy, and clarity. I specialize in supporting people navigate burnout and emotional overwhelm. I combine practical tools with deep presence, offering more than just talk therapy. My work integrates trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, EMDR, CBT/DBT, mindfulness, and energy healing –helping you not just cope—but thrive. Whether you're working through grief, identity shifts, relationship wounds, or simply seeking a softer way of living—I’m here to walk beside you with empathy, insight, and care.
In our first session, you'll be welcomed into a warm, nonjudgmental space where you're free to exhale and just be. We'll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll gently explore what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to shift or understand, and what’s felt heavy or confusing lately. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out—this is a space to land, not to perform.
I love teaching clients practical skills they can use outside of sessions - breathing techniques, mindfulness practices, communication tools – which gives them agency in their own healing process. That kind of empowerment can create lasting change beyond the therapeutic relationship!
I work with adults, young professionals, couples, and anyone ages 18 and older who are eager to heal and grow!

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use the four main focuses in DBT: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to teach clients practical skills they can use to improve and enrich their lives.
EMDR
I help clients understand how trauma has impacted their brains and their lives. I support clients to process trauma, healing tools to work through trauma, while creating a safe space to empower clients.
Somatic
Using EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) is a powerful approach, especially when working with anxiety, trauma, or attachment wounds. Both methods are body-aware and emotion-centered, making them highly complementary.

I felt that Patricia was consistently quite short with me and could be quite rude and judgemental. To give an example, one time I told her that meditation/yoga has not helped me with stress and she said that I must be the problem. No deeper diving into why those may not be beneficial for me or other suggestions, just I'm the problem. I felt unsupported and alone and often like i was the one doing the therapy for myself in the sessions. I came out of every session worse than when i went in.

Was not greeted warmly, she did not even introduce herself. Then proceeded to ask a bunch of questions, and when I would answer, it seemed she was not listening because she would ask almost the same question again. It was very frustrating, it's hard to talk about vulnerable things and not feel listened to. I know the first session entails intake, but it couldve been done with more warmth and care. Seemed like she was really put out even being there.

Patricia is very perceptive and able to see what's going on with me clearly. She cuts through all the confusion and uncertainty to see the truth of what's happening and finds positive solutions.
