I would like to focus on working with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues and other mood disorders.
Throughout my career as a therapist, I have gained extensive experience working in psychiatric facilities, hospitals, private clinics, and private practice, where I have specialized in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. With this method, I help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and maladaptive behaviors. By incorporating CBT techniques, such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation, I empower clients to develop healthier coping strategies and a more positive mindset. My experience in diverse settings allows me to tailor CBT to each individual’s unique needs, ensuring effective treatment that promotes lasting change.
As a therapist with expertise in attachment-based therapy modalities, I have worked across a wide range of settings, including psychiatric facilities, hospitals, private clinics, and private practice. I specialize in helping individuals of all ages, from older adults to children, as well as families and foster families, navigate the complexities of attachment issues. My approach focuses on understanding how early relationships shape emotional patterns and behaviors, and I work to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can build healthier connections. With this therapeutic framework, I help strengthen family dynamics, address trauma, and promote emotional healing through secure, trusting attachments.
As a therapist who integrates faith-based therapy modalities, I draw upon spiritual principles to support individuals, families, children, and older adults in their healing journeys. With experience in a variety of settings, including psychiatric facilities, hospitals, private clinics, and private practice, I tailor therapeutic techniques to align with each client’s faith, helping them navigate challenges while finding strength in their beliefs. My approach fosters spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and personal transformation by incorporating prayer, scripture, and spiritual teachings into the therapeutic process, offering a holistic path to healing that nurtures both mind and spirit.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals process and reframe traumatic experiences, making it a valuable tool in my therapeutic practice. With my experience working with children, families, individuals, and older adults in psychiatric facilities, hospitals, private clinics, private practice, and through teletherapy platforms, I have seen how CPT can be transformative in healing trauma. Through CPT, I guide clients in identifying distorted thoughts related to their trauma, challenging those beliefs, and helping them develop healthier, more adaptive perspectives. This method empowers clients to regain control of their emotions and reactions, fostering resilience and promoting long-term healing.
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is a therapeutic modality that emphasizes the development of self-compassion and emotional regulation, particularly for those struggling with shame, self-criticism, or trauma. Drawing from my experience working with children, families, individuals, and older adults across diverse settings such as psychiatric facilities, hospitals, private clinics, private practice, and teletherapy platforms, I use CFT to help clients build a compassionate mindset toward themselves and others. By integrating mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and emotional regulation skills, CFT enables clients to address their struggles with greater kindness and understanding, fostering healing and growth across various life challenges.
