I help overwhelmed and burned-out adults navigate anxiety and major life transitions with a grounded, integrative approach to therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect, and feel understood. My work blends somatic awareness, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapy to help you regulate stress, restore balance, and build resilience. I'm also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. This informs my whole-person approach, with thoughtful attention to the nervous system, lifestyle influences, and nutrition as part of overall emotional well-being.
In our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals while creating a supportive, collaborative space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, stressors, and strengths and discuss a treatment approach that feels clear, manageable, and supportive.
My greatest strengths include my calm, grounded presence and my ability to integrate insight-oriented therapy with body-based awareness. I help clients connect emotional understanding with practical tools for regulating stress and building resilience. Clients often appreciate my thoughtful, supportive approach and my focus on helping them feel more balanced, connected, and empowered in their daily lives.
I work well with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or emotionally stuck internally. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, caregivers, or people navigating life transitions, relationship stress, perfectionism, and chronic self-pressure. They want practical support, deeper insight, healthier ways to cope, and tools to manage stress more effectively. Together, we work toward creating a more balanced, confident, and fulfilling life with greater clarity and resilience.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to explore emotional and relational patterns that develop over time and continue to affect clients in the present. In my practice, I integrate a holistic, somatic perspective to support nervous system awareness and emotional processing, helping clients feel more connected, grounded, and empowered.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, reduce anxiety, and develop healthier coping strategies. CBT can be especially effective for stress, self-criticism, perfectionism, and feeling stuck in negative cycles. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client's goals.

Today was my first session and I instantly felt comfortable opening up and sharing with Allison. She is an excellent listener and I look forward to working with her more.
