Welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and am licensed in the state of California. I am originally from Iceland but have lived in the U.S. since January of 2005. I received my education at Capella University and graduated in 2017. I have experience working with CPTSD, PTSD, anxiety & panic, self-esteem, self-doubt, cultural stress, existential crisis, first generation immigration & family estrangement. I’m passionate about empowering the self and as a person-centered, strength-based therapist, I believe that you seek therapy with the untapped ability to be your best self. In addition to provide services in English, I also speak Icelandic.
My name is Aarti and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Orange County, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I am of South Asian (Indian, Desi) descent and a first-generation college graduate. In our time together, my hope is simple: to help you gently set down everything you’ve been carrying; intergenerational wounds, people pleasing, perfectionism, the quiet grief of living between worlds. Allowing you to finally feel validated and understood.
At my core, I am a therapist who believes in the transformative power of depth, empathy, humor, and the arts. I’ve spent my career helping people understand themselves more fully — not only by reducing symptoms, but by uncovering the narratives, emotions, and self-limiting beliefs that have kept them small or stuck. I work from a humanistic and psychoanalytic foundation, integrating mindfulness, ACT, and solution-focused strategies to help clients access resilience, self-compassion, and real change.
I bring a warm, grounded, and creative presence into the room. My background as an artist and writer shapes my work: I’m attentive to symbolism, story, imagination, and the deeper layers of a person’s emotional life. Humor is also one of my most natural tools, not to avoid pain, but to help clients feel safe, open, and connected as they explore difficult experiences.
Across corporate mental health, trauma work, refugee support, and private practice, I’ve seen how people flourish when they’re permitted to be fully themselves. I help clients build self-esteem through honesty, curiosity, and acceptance; loosen rigid patterns; and move beyond the internalized messages or roles that no longer serve them.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with fifteen years of clinical experience. I have been practicing in a rural community health center for the majority of my career as a therapist. As a result, many of them are diagnosed with PTSD, an anxiety disorder, and/or depression. I am a collaborative therapist who works with each patient to identify goals and create an individually tailored treatment plan based on unique skills, strengths, and interests. It is also extremely important to me to create a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental environment where each patient is treated with unconditional positive regard at all times.

Synchronize your heart and mind; so you can harmonize your life. When we are being pulled in thousands of different directions by our minds, it's important for us to ground in ourselves. It's important for you to connect to your heart and see what it needs. That's when you can find the bliss and harmony that you've longed for in life. Your life is a story to be told, and I am excited to hear it.
In the course of my career, my heart has been touched by at least three thousand individuals who honored me with their stories of love, loss, trauma, and a deeper a need for understanding who he/she is. I love working with clients who are ready to be challenged and identify blind spots in their lives. Many of my clients are therapists themselves or work in the field of healing. We create an individualized therapeutic plan and strategy based on your comfort and pace. We move gradually but quickly to address what changes you want to implement in your life. Most sessions are active, rather than passive. Yet, the therapeutic space belongs to the client. You get to dictate and tell your story at your pace.
Hi, I’m Kristine Asatryan, LCSW.
Life can be overwhelming at times, and it takes courage to reach out for support. My goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, find balance, and create a more peaceful, fulfilling life.
My philosophy is simple: yesterday is gone, today is what matters, and tomorrow is out of our control. I help my clients focus on the present moment, build self-awareness, and make meaningful changes that lead to lasting growth.
I strive to provide a warm, compassionate space where you feel safe to explore your emotions and challenges without judgment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship stress, trauma, or simply feeling lost, therapy can be a powerful path toward healing and clarity.
As a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, I understand the importance of human connection and the many roles we juggle in life. My approach blends empathy, mindfulness, and cultural sensitivity with practical tools for emotional wellness.
My work is guided by the values of respect, kindness, love, family, service, and integrity — the same principles that shape who I am both personally and professionally.
If you’re ready to rediscover your confidence, calm, and purpose, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Please note: Sessions are scheduled on the hour (e.g., 3:00 PM), not on the half-hour (e.g., 3:30 PM). Thank you for your understanding as we improve our scheduling system.

In life, we all go through moments when we need support, clarity, and a safe place to explore what’s getting in the way. My goal is to offer a flexible, creative, and non-judgmental space where you can heal and understand yourself more deeply. I work with older teens, young adults, and individuals navigating big transitions—identity exploration, relationships, school, work, and the pressure of stepping into adulthood. I also support LGBTQIA2S+ clients and provide gender-affirming letters.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Seeking Safety, and the Gottman Method for couples. I value meeting you where you are and using creativity, mindfulness, and curiosity to support your growth.
I love people. Having witnessed traumas from my own life, I know what it feels like to have hurt as well as healing. I have always loved teens & adults and strive to love them right where they are. I've worked closely with people since college (over 15 years ago) through private practices, group practice, churches, rehab. centers, camps, & conferences. I have training/skills to comfortably work with teens, allowing me to get to know them in a very authentic way. I have extensive experience working using CBT & EMDR methods & I have expertise in anxiety, relationship issues, & traumatic experiences that you need to work through!
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in youth ministry at a 17,000-member church in Newport Beach, CA and fell in love working with people and I wanted to contribute to people's lives in an even deeper way, not only through a ministry context but through professional counseling in a 1/1 setting. It has been deeply enriching ever since!

Do you constantly think about past experiences and self-defeating messages you learned as a child? This is the space for you.
My name is Monica Reza, LCSW. I am a strength base- intersectional therapist. I am Mexican, who was born and raised in Southern California. My life experiences on every level has motivated me to becoming a therapist. I have been in the mental health field for 8 years. My clinical approach leans towards CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution Focus, and Somatic Therapy.
Our sessions will focus on distress tolerance, emotional regulation, improving relationships with self and others, and building a sense of self-worth. What we will be doing in our sessions: Identify goals, learn and incorporate healthy coping skills, practice mindfulness and acceptance, process and reflect, find solutions, behavior activation, create new core beliefs, and most importantly, healing.
I look forward to meeting with you.
I help people create meaningful, lasting change by guiding them through a process of deep self-awareness, healing, and intentional action. My clients often discover increased self-worth, a deeper sense of confidence, and stronger, more authentic relationships. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, our work together will help you build tools to regulate emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and cultivate deeper self-trust.
At its heart, my work is about helping you feel more at home in yourself. Healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new, it means returning to and reclaiming who you’ve always been.
You are more than what happened to you. Your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences do not define your worth or your future. Healing is possible—and you deserve a life that feels safe, grounded, and truly your own.

I’m Melissa Lapides, and my work centers around attachment. If you’re dating or in a relationship, we’re going to look at how your early experiences shaped the way you connect, protect, pursue, withdraw, or repeat the same patterns over and over. Together, we make sense of why you’re experiencing the challenges you’re having — not from a place of blame, but from understanding. I work with both individuals and couples to help them build more harmonious relationships rooted in emotional safety, secure connection, and real love and intimacy. When you understand your attachment style and nervous system, your relationship patterns stop feeling confusing and start feeling workable.
I’m warm, direct, and grounded — think compassionate but honest. I’ll hold space for your pain, and I’ll also gently call you forward when you’re ready. I believe most struggles make sense in the context of your story and your nervous system, not because something is “wrong” with you. My goal is to help you feel more regulated, more connected, and more empowered in your relationships and your life. Healing doesn’t have to be dramatic — it can be steady, real, and deeply transformative.
You deserve support that feels real. Therapy isn’t just about talking—it’s about feeling seen, heard, and empowered. If you’ve been feeling disconnected, anxious, or weighed down by the past, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Sujin Ma, PhD, LPCC, BC-DMT, a licensed therapist and board-certified dance/movement therapist. I help people feel more connected, understood, and at ease within themselves. My approach is gentle and collaborative, blending conversation, mindfulness, and creative expression. As an immigrant and bilingual therapist who has lived in several countries, I strive to create a space where all parts of you feel seen, supported, and accepted.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”

Hi there, I am Joanna
Have you ever gone to therapy and found it hard to open up because the sessions appear rigid and impersonal, and maybe you felt judged? In my practice is my goal to lead sessions in a non-judgmental way, with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I like to describe my relationship with clients as a relationship among equals. My role in the session is to help you process some of the challenges you are experiencing and offer skills that can help create the change you want to see in your life. My theoretical orientation is dialectical behavioral therapy and I try to hold the balance between acceptance and change, this means accepting that although things might be difficult at this moment we can learn new behaviors so life can be improved. My goal is to help clients increase their overall satisfaction in life and relationships. I am also trained in trauma work to help clients process traumatic experiences.
Do you feel unseen or unheard? Do you struggle with feeling like you don’t quite belong—or maybe feel disconnected from yourself entirely? Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, juggling societal pressures and cultural and familial expectations. Others carry the weight of childhood or intergenerational trauma. Some struggle with imposter syndrome in their workplaces or post-grad programs, while others long for healthier, more fulfilling relationships—with themselves and those around them.
As a professional therapist, I am here to walk alongside you with warmth, humor, and empathy. I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. If you value honest, direct feedback and compassionate encouragement, I am ready to help you navigate life’s challenges confidently and clearly.
Are you ready to embrace self-acceptance? To unlock your full potential? To experience more profound healing and fulfillment? I’m ready when you are. Together, we will identify your stressors, develop practical coping skills, and build the resilience to move forward with strength and purpose.

Hello,
My name is Elizabeth, and my pronouns are they/them/elle. I am a bicultural nonbinary therapist. I have the most experience working with anxiety disorders, self-confidence issues, and challenges around gender and sexuality.
I use a very humanistic approach in my practice, and I am human with you in the room. You do not need to feel talked down to or be told what to do in therapy. You and I can work together instead, as I may be the expert in psychology, but you are the expert of your own life. You will be encouraged to use your own strengths to push through the hurdles and you can expect warmth from me throughout this process.

It takes courage to accept and seek help and set out on your recovery journey. My focus in our work will be on meeting you where you are at and in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaborate and explore what can be helpful in addressing your needs, wants, and barriers to getting them met.
Together, we will challenge ourselves to show up authentically in relationship so we can examine the areas of your life that you would like support in. These areas can often include examining how systemic and cultural factors influence our perception of ourselves, others, and the world.
My hope in our work together is that you'll come away with a renewed sense of self and identity that not only addresses the hardships and challenges you have endured, but also empowers you to affirm your sense of agency, and make your mark on the world.
