New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across diverse settings, which has shaped my deep understanding of people, trauma, and the pathways to true healing and restoration. My work has allowed me to walk alongside individuals in some of their most vulnerable moments and support meaningful, lasting change. For several years, I served in a church setting as a lay counselor, where I integrated a Biblical perspective into counseling. Through this work, I have seen how faith-informed care can bring profound healing to the whole person—mind, body, and soul. I believe that when spiritual insight and clinical understanding come together, clients can experience deep inner renewal and freedom. I have also worked in a psychiatric hospital, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams in high-acuity environments. This experience strengthened my clinical skills and gave me firsthand insight into what truly helps individuals stabilize, heal, and regain hope during times of crisis. In my practice, I primarily use Solution-Focused Therapy alongside other evidence-based modalities, thoughtfully tailored to each client’s unique needs. My goal is to help you identify strengths, move through trauma, and find practical tools for growth—while creating a safe, compassionate space for inner healing. I work with individuals seeking healing from trauma, emotional pain, and life challenges, and with those who desire faith-integrated care. Together, we will focus on restoration, clarity, and lasting change so you can move forward with purpose and wholeness.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you’ve been through a lot. My goal in our first session is to help you feel safe, heard, and hopeful about what’s possible. We’ll begin by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a full plan—just show up as you are. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences, your strengths, and what life feels like for you right now. Using a solution-focused approach, we’ll explore what you want life to look like beyond the pain. I may invite you to consider a “miracle question”—imagining how things would be different if healing began to take place. This helps us identify meaningful goals and small, realistic steps toward change, even when things feel overwhelming. Together, we’ll begin shaping goals that are practical, personal, and empowering—goals that move you toward freedom, stability, and inner healing. Whether you’re navigating trauma, emotional stress, faith questions, or life transitions, the first session is about creating direction and hope, not pressure or perfection. You’ll leave the session with greater clarity, a sense of being understood, and a path forward that fits who you are and where you’re going.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach to therapy is grounded in a belief that true healing addresses the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Through my experience, I have found that Bible-centered therapy can be a powerful pathway to deep and lasting healing. When clients desire it, I thoughtfully integrate biblical principles and faith-based insight into our work together. At the same time, your comfort and preferences always come first. Christian therapy is never required. If you prefer a fully clinical approach without faith integration, I will meet you there with the same care, respect, and professionalism. The heart behind my work is simple: I am passionate about helping people become whole and live out their life's purpose. Whether your journey includes faith, questions, or none at all, my goal is to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and move toward a life marked by freedom, meaning, and restoration.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
When life hurts and answers feel out of reach, true healing often starts beneath the surface. I work with people who want both clinical support and deeper soul-level healing, helping you move toward wholeness, freedom, and purpose.
Attachment-based
I have used this for 3 years while being an intern. Attachment helps identify relationship issues and how to better understand oneself to then know how to be more secure and confident.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I have used this for about 5 years since being an intern with the focus to help give the sessions direction and goals with feedback. This modality is the basis on how I do treatment alongside other modalities for a more holistic approach to the client's needs.
Narrative
I use Narrative since I became an intern so for 5 years i have been using this to help clients learn to problem-solve and using other characters and developing a sense of awareness through a third-person perspective and then applying it to themselves.
Motivational Interviewing
I have been using this modality since I was a Behavioral Interventionist for about 6 or 7 years with clients to develop a solid therapeutic relationship to help the client's reach their goal and feel comfortable enough to allow the therapy to do it's full function.
Christian Counseling
I have conducted Christian Counseling for about 5 years in a local church. I use this modality to bring in the element of spirituality and be Biblically centered to bring true transformation and healing.
