New to Grow
I work from a trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based approach that honors the whole person. I guide with compassion, supporting you in cultivating confidence, self-awareness, and a sense of wellness. Healing is a collaborative process of self-discovery and internal alignment. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally affirming space where you can freely express yourself, fostering growth, empowerment, and lasting transformation. I value guiding with empathy and supporting individuals on their journey of self-discovery. My approach emphasizes practical solutions, healthy coping, and deep healing while drawing on evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with integrative and holistic methods tailored to each person’s needs.
Our first session is about understanding your story, building trust, and beginning the collaborative process of healing and growth. We’ll discuss your goals, what you hope to achieve, and the challenges you’re currently experiencing. As part of this process, I’ll ask about your biological health (medical history, sleep, medications), psychological experiences (mood, trauma, coping patterns), and social context (family, relationships, work, and cultural background) to get a full picture of your experience. We’ll also assess your current symptoms, and I’ll explain my therapeutic approach, answer any questions, and discuss what therapy may look like for you. Together, we’ll outline a plan that feels safe, realistic, and aligned with your goals.
I provide a trauma-informed, whole-person approach that integrates somatic work and mindfulness to support deep and lasting healing. I work collaboratively with clients, guiding them to reclaim confidence, build self-awareness, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, and EMDR, I tailor each approach to meet your unique needs. I create a safe, culturally sensitive space for marginalized communities feel seen, supported, and empowered on their journey toward growth and wellness.
I am passionate about supporting individuals, women, BIPOC, veterans and marginalized communities as they navigate complex trauma, attachment, and the journey toward wholeness. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for healing. I specialize in working with individuals who are seeking to resolve past trauma, strengthen self-worth, and reconnect with their authentic selves. With both professional and personal experience, I understand the unique challenges of military service as well as the impacts of PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) breaks through past emotionally-charged experiences that interfere with one’s ability to work through and process emotional blocks. Using EMDR I will help you work through the past so it feels less overwhelming and adapt a healthier perspective with present information.
Focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will learn to notice unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and acting.
Dialectical means holding two seemingly opposite truths at the same time. When we have “big emotions” sometimes they become overwhelming and unsure how to navigate our big feelings. We will use mindfulness and acceptance strategies to better understand holding two opposites at once like acceptance and change as we realize our lives aren’t always “either/or” it’s often “both/and.”
A body-centered approach that integrates mind and body to help people process trauma, stress, and overwhelming emotions. Trauma and stress doesn’t just live in the mind, they also get stored in the body. I will utilize somatic techniques to help you notice, release and integrate physical responses to stress and trauma.
