New to Grow
I'll never judge you—but I may challenge you. I believe meaningful growth happens when compassion and honesty work together. My practice is centered on creating a warm, supportive environment where adults can explore life's challenges, better understand themselves, and develop practical tools for lasting change. I recognize that every person brings a unique story, strengths, and experiences to therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client's individual needs, preferences, and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and believe therapy is most effective when clients feel both supported and empowered. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, stress, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, my goal is to help you identify patterns that no longer serve you, build upon your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I often describe the first session as the DMV appointment of therapy—it involves paperwork, questions, and sharing information that can sometimes feel uncomfortable or vulnerable. My goal during this time is to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying the goals that matter most to you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're ready for. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll leave with a better understanding of the therapy process, a sense of direction, and feeling more comfortable than when you arrived.
I bring compassion, curiosity, and honesty to each session. My experience working with individuals across a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses, including serious and persistent mental illness, has taught me that people are incredibly resilient and that healing rarely follows a straight line. I am comfortable working with complex challenges and believe no one is "too much" or beyond hope. I strive to provide both empathy and thoughtful feedback, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals. If you're willing to trust the process and take the occasional leap of faith, I'll be there to help you navigate the landing.
I work best with clients who are ready to look inward, challenge old patterns, and actively participate in their own growth. You don't have to have everything figured out, but a willingness to be curious, honest, and open to change goes a long way. As a therapist, I serve as a compassionate mirror, helping clients recognize both their strengths and the patterns that may be holding them back. I combine warmth, empathy, and accountability to help clients make sense of their experiences and turn insight into meaningful action. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more empowered, connected, and confident in creating lasting change. If you're looking for a therapist who will support you, challenge you thoughtfully, and celebrate your progress along the way, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
