My role is to partner with you and provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and to help you develop strategies to effectively manage and cope with life’s challenges. Remember, this is your journey and you are in control. We will work together to set goals that are important to you. Think of me as the persons walking beside you pointing out things to look at a little closer. I’m here to support you every step of the way."

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we’ll start with a brief introduction and I’ll take a background to get to know you a little better. We’ll discuss your specific challenges and start to explore what you’d like from therapy. I always save some time to allow for clients to ask me questions. Most importantly we’ll discuss how the session felt and whether it feels like we are a good fit to work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am non judgmental, compassionate, friendly, and can gently push you when needed. I am not afraid to ask the hard questions and provide feedback.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work well with adults who know a little about themselves and how they are but have gotten stuck in life or feel off track. Are you having a transition in life and feel like you need a place to recenter and move forward? Have you done things in the past that have worked for you but they don't work anymore? I have worked years with people in these situations who have decided to break loose from these patterns that don't fit anymore and want to learn to live a life that's more meaningful and balanced.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I don't believe therapy is a one size fits all experience. I I have been trained in several modalities and rely heavily on both psychodynamic (where are you from and how did you become the way you are today) and ACT (this is who you are and what life looks like today, how can you accept this and use your inner strengths to move through life) . I tend to pull out of a fully packed tool kit that allows me to meet my client and offer them what they need at the particular moment in time.
