Welcome! I'm Sorrenta, an LMFT with over two decades of experience in private practice. Creating a safe space that is rooted in trust, I am dedicated to getting to know the real you. Life has many ups and downs and having the right person to turn to is essential in order to live your best life. My approach tends to follow a collaborative goal oriented style. I blend Cognitive behavioral work along with an attentive, curious and at times humorous approach. My goal is to help you feel the way you want to feel, in order to take the steps you yearn to take in order to heal, create change, and start really living as your authentic self. Yes therapy is work, however with the right connection, you will come to enjoy your sessions and the process of change.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be one that is calming and where we get to know each other. Most of all we will work collaboratively to address your concerns and goals regarding therapy and ensure we are a good fit! My hope is you leave feeling a tiny bit better and refreshed. I tend to come as I am, and I invite you to do the same.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over twenty years of work in this field, I can comfortably say human beings are more similar than we are different. I trust that opening up and working through self doubt and shame makes all of us better people. With that in my pocket, I am truly able to work from a place of compassion and curiosity. Judgement does not serve me, nor you or the greater good. Therapy with me is a place to learn, shed old ways, create new ones, laugh and cry and be accepted for exactly who you are!
