I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been a therapist dedicated to supporting diverse communities for over a decade. My theoretical orientation is evidence-based practices (ICBT) Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I have clinical experience in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I primarily work with adults, children, adolescents, and their families. I believe that by working together there is a hope about changing behaviors, thereby leading to desired quality of life. I provide a safe, open, and nurturing environment to process, grow, and improve your level of functioning. I am skilled in using a wide range of interventions utilizing ICBT. I strive with kindness, compassion, respect and look forward to collaborating treatment together to achieve motivation and progress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will build our therapeutic relationship and explore challenges that you would like to work on to build trust and safety. I believe in the importance of self-autonomy and will let you set the pace for your own self-discovery. I will collaborate with you to alleviate any stressors that are impeding your personal success. From our very first session and throughout our course together we will also develop a transition plan, so you are prepared with the necessary interventions to maintain your progress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience in collaborating with clients who have challenging needs in complex environments, collaborating to help clients meet their identified goals, needs and build on their current strengths. I am very enthusiastic about helping individuals in a personal and empathic way. I am transparent, can build and maintain healthy relationships. I focus on positive self-talk and psychoeducation.
