New to Grow
With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical focus includes working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, attachment-related issues, adjustment disorders, and substance use. I am trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative therapeutic environment that fosters growth and resilience.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know your history, clarifying what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, with the focus on building rapport and creating a foundation of trust so we can collaborate effectively throughout your treatment.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to create a calm, non‑judgmental space where clients feel understood and supported. I integrate evidence‑based approaches with a culturally attuned understanding of each client’s unique story, while building meaningful therapeutic relationships that help clients feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions and experiences.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m seeking to work with adults who are navigating life transitions, managing depression or anxiety, or struggling with patterns rooted in attachment or relationship challenges. I also welcome individuals coping with adjustment issues or working toward recovery from substance use. My practice is a good fit for people who value a supportive, culturally attuned space and are open to evidence‑based approaches like CBT, IPT, and mindfulness as we work together toward greater clarity, stability, and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behaviors. Through this structured evidenced based approach, , I work collaboratively with clients to build practical coping strategies, improve motional regulation, and create lasting, meaningful change n their lives.
Attachment-based
I incorporate attachment based approaches in my work to help clients understand how early relationship experiences shape the w3ay they connect with others and view themselves. By exploring patterns of attachment, we work together to build greater emotional awareness, strengthen relationship skills and create more secure and fulfilling connections.
Eclectic
I draw from a variety of evidenced based modalities to best meet the unique needs of each client. Rather than relying on a single framework, I tailor treatment by integrating techniques that support each individual's goals, strengths, and personal experiences.
