Hello, and congratulations on taking this step. Reaching out takes awareness, courage, and a real commitment to change — it requires to invite someone into your struggles.
I've spent over 25 years working in behavioral health as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. My career has taken me from a faith-based agency in New England to a community behavioral health center in northeastern Arizona, where I eventually led clinical services for 12 years, to providing counseling at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base — an experience that deepened my respect for military members and their families. I now own a private practice in Sahuarita, Arizona.
My work focuses on helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also welcome working with military veterans, people of faith, and individuals and families facing serious illness. In the spring of 2025, I was diagnosed with cancer. I have since completed treatment and am now cancer free — and that experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for what it means to face something that reshapes your world.
I don't see therapy as simply treating a diagnosis. I see it as working with you as a whole person — your strengths, fears, hopes, values, pain, and goals. I'll listen carefully, but I'll also be active: helping you identify patterns, understand difficult thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and take meaningful steps forward. I won't claim to be the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you and help guide the change process at a pace that feels respectful and manageable.

As a licensed professional counselor with 30 years experience, I have helped adults and couples navigating through relationship challenges, life transitions, self worth issues and substance use and recovery. My approach is collaborative, mindful and nonjudgemental . I know sometimes it is difficult to see the way forward. Together, we can slow things down, gain clarity, explore patterns, and identify practical steps toward creating meaningful and lasting change. My hope is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist with more than 15 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, grief, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the seasons of life when everything simply feels like a lot.
My background is a little different from the traditional therapy path. I’ve worked in schools, community mental health, and crisis intervention settings. I’ve supported veterans, first responders, survivors of trauma and abuse, neurodivergent individuals, parents, professionals, and people facing some of life’s hardest moments. These experiences have taught me how to stay grounded when things feel chaotic and why it’s so important to see the whole person - not simply a diagnosis or list of symptoms.
My style is conversational, collaborative, and practical. I’ll give you space to process, but I’m not a therapist who simply nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” We’ll get curious about patterns, relationships, boundaries, past experiences, and the things that keep showing up in your life. We’ll explore where those patterns came from, how they affect you now, and what you may want to change.
I believe insight is only part of the work. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies you can use outside of therapy to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, improve communication, strengthen relationships, establish boundaries, and navigate difficult seasons.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you begin. Sometimes it starts with simply recognizing that something isn’t working anymore. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life - it’s to help you understand yourself more clearly, build skills and confidence, and create meaningful change.
I am a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use, adjustment difficulty, identity development, trauma, suicidal/self-harm behaviors, relationship issues, religious and spirituality-related issues, aging, chronic pain, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I have successfully worked with teens, adolescents, and adults and have enjoyed working with these populations, in different settings: home, shelter, detention, and in college. I enjoy working with clients respectfully and compassionately while attending to their goals. I am an experienced telehealth and in-person provider.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, a Master’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in English, and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. In addition to state licensure, I am a National Board-Certified Therapist. I was a recipient of an academic excellence award in graduate school and have had the opportunity to present a paper at a university conference-American Studies Association of Texas. I have also been a university keynote speaker on Spirituality and Counseling. I am eclectic in approach. These include the utilization of person-centered, choice therapy, existential psychology frameworks, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, among others.
My name is John Kowite, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona. I have over six years of experience supporting clients with anxiety, ADHD, autism, addiction and dual diagnosis, with specialized training working with couples and neurodiverse clients. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space, incorporating mindfulness and creative expression in my work with clients, to help them name and acknowledge their feelings and experiences, heal and feel better.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes meaningful change happens when you feel safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can show up as you are—without judgment. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or disconnected in your relationship, we’ll work together to better understand what’s happening and how to move forward.
I take a collaborative and practical approach to therapy. That means we don’t just talk about challenges—we explore tools and strategies you can use in your everyday life. I blend evidence-based techniques with a strong focus on relationships and emotional awareness. Together, we’ll look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting.
I work with individuals and couples who want to reduce anxiety, improve communication, and create more fulfilling relationships. My aim is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and capable—both in and outside of session.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in anxiety, emotional regulation, depression, and trauma-related stressors. With over 25 years of experience, my work is grounded in evidence-based practice. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach that incorporates CBT, DBT, solution-focused, motivational, and trauma-informed interventions based on the client’s presenting needs and treatment goals, with a deep commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and build meaningful change. I support both men and women who are navigating stress, relationship challenges, identity shifts, burnout, and the lingering impact of past trauma.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and ongoing life stress. I believe therapy should feel steady and purposeful — a place where you can speak honestly about what’s heavy while also making meaningful progress.
My style is calm, grounded, and direct. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore both where those patterns began and how they’re affecting your relationships, work, and sense of self today.
I integrate EMDR, CBT, and ACT to address the root of distress while also building practical skills for emotional regulation and clearer decision-making. I value depth, but I also value structure — therapy should not feel aimless.
I tend to work well with people who hold a lot together for others yet quietly carry internal stress, self-doubt, or unresolved experiences. I believe you don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. When someone is ready to look beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms but understand and shift what’s underneath, that’s where meaningful change begins.

Feeling overwhelmed trying to keep your thoughts, sleep, and day-to-day life on track? A racing mind and exhausted body feed each other—anxiety keeps you up, and sleepless nights make everything harder the next day. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, ADHD, and insomnia. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, but it's always shaped around you—who you are, what matters to you, and everything that's brought you to this point. Hello,
Thank you for reviewing my profile.
Briefly; I am Licensed Naturopathic Doctor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I work with adult professional women dealing with anxiety, depression, past unresolved trauma, grief, stress and relationship issues. My philosophy is that we need positive human beings in our lives, to 'see' us and bear witness to our lives. In order for us to be fully human, we need at least one supportive individual who validates the part of us that needs healing. We need meaningful experiences to help us navigate this journey called life.
My training as a Naturopathic Doctor affords me a lens to also consider, incorporate and integrate diet & lifestyle practices for your overall well-being.
So, if you are tired of being tired, anxious, sad, depressed and you're just going through the motions, feeling stuck in dysfunctional patterns that drain you; AND you are willing to do the work to get well, then you need skilled, compassionate support to help you get unstuck and get your life back on track, so that you can experience purposeful living. As our paths intersect her, I start with the intention that you to "prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers" 3 John 2.

It takes courage to realize help is needed. My job in the first session, is to be transparent and to establish trust.Thank you for choosing me as your therapist.Therapy is most effective when it is active, collaborative, and focused on meaningful change. Sessions are engaging and interactive, with thoughtful questions, feedback, and guidance designed to help move things forward in a clear and purposeful way.
With more than 25 years of experience, support is offered to individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions and , traumas. Couples and families are helped to recognize unhelpful patterns, improve communication, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of resolving conflict.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an important foundation, however, care is tailored to each person and situation rather than relying on a single approach. The focus is not only on understanding the roots of a concern, but also on identifying concrete steps that can lead to improvement in daily life and relationships.
Experience also includes work with individuals facing extraordinary stress, trauma, grief, and crisis, including those impacted by events such as September 11, care provided at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and individuals affected by the war in Israel. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, offering nonjudgmental support, and helping them find practical ways forward during some of life’s most challenging moments.

I work with clients to identify their strengths and how to use them successfully, while navigating through life. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including infertility, parenting, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life changes, loss and grief.
My treatment style is laid back but warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I also look at a person’s strength because we are always our biggest critic. I believe everyone has tools in their toolbox to build on. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively, at their pace, to make them feel safe and supported.

Hello, my name is Charlinda and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Atlanta, GA. With so much going on in today's climate, life can be HARD!! Have you encountered a traumatic experience that has held you hostage to the point, you just can't break free to move forward? And, despite your best efforts to push through all of it, you still end up feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and just plain "stuck". Let me be the first to tell you, it's okay to not be okay. I understand the stigma behind receiving therapy and I also understand that it takes courage and strength to reach out for help, which is why I am here. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and should have access to quality mental health services.
With over 25+ years of experience, I am a culturally, competent counselor that offers therapy in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I help clients (including high-profile clients) identify and remove barriers to managing life stressors and address depression, anxiety, anger, unresolved emotional and abandonment issues, self-esteem/empowerment, grief/ loss, relationship/marital/family concerns, survivorship, caregiving, abuse/trauma, addiction, career/life transitions and more.
I'm a board-licensed therapist with extensive experience working with teens and adults. I believe that therapy is characterized by safety, trust, respect, and an emphasis on education and self-discovery. I have had the pleasure of conducting therapy with people of various ages and backgrounds. I have served in various clinical settings (e.g., inpatient psychiatric, outpatient counseling, addictions, etc.). My specializations include working with those who have experienced life-altering anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, and chronic stress.
If you can read this, you made the first step. Congratulations. Seeking therapy is hard. Most people delay and tell themselves that whatever they are experiencing must be the way life is. Chances are if you have reached the point to begin exploring therapy, counseling can help make your life better. While therapy is often hard, it can be an enjoyable and uplifting experience as well. I believe that you cannot laugh without a combination of insight and relief. You can expect some humor in most sessions.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. In that time I have worked with men, women, teens, and families on a wide variety of issues. Sometimes that work simply involved helping them through a particular incident or life change that overwhelmed them. Other times our work together centered around longstanding issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
In addition to traditional cognitive behavioral therapy, I also offer a fourth-wave therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). I have found this technique to be highly effective in helping people with trauma and or anxiety. Our minds and bodies are connected. Anyone who has experienced a tight neck and shoulders or an upset stomach when they were stressed knows this. EFT uses acupressure (done by the client) and cognitive interventions to provide fast and effective relief.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I am ready to help you through the challenges you are facing. In addition to counseling, I also provide vocational testing, coaching, and consulting.
I provide both Christian and secular counseling depending on the needs of my clients.
For clients with high level confidentiality concerns due to corporate or clearance issues, there are ways we can do EFT without you ever speaking out loud about events.
Note: The ONLY openings in my schedule currently are TUESDAYS AT 4pm or WEDNESDAYS AT 3PM. If either of these times works for you for weekly sessions, awesome! Please note that I have a strict weekly attendance policy. About me: I offer a sacred space for your sacred stories. This safe space allows you to do the courageous work of going within to know your Self deeper, understand your Self better, and bring your true Self forth. Our work together is a collaborative, co-creative process in which we explore your present-day experiences as well as childhood and early adulthood experiences through your thoughts, feelings, body wisdom, and soul-knowing. I am a kind & gentle witness to you exploring your Self. I ask deep questions, you explore your Inner Landscape. I walk along beside you as you heal inner wounds, release stored trauma, and create a heart-centered, truthful, empowered, integrated Self. I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Grief/Loss. We collaboratively explore themes of identity and expression of the True Self; remembering your True Essence (self-worth, self-kindness, self-acceptance); and work with your integrated Mind-Heart-Body-Soul to create an Aligned Self. Please note that I do not specialize in Crisis work or Addictions work, and will refer you to another therapist who specializes in this work.

I am a holistic and integrative therapist offering somatic psychotherapy online. I support clients who are navigating chronic stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, neurodiversity and high sensitivity. I integrate eastern and western modalities to offer a truly holistic approach to healing and highly effective therapy: Somatic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reiki & Energy Therapy, Spinal Energetics and Therapeutic Yoga.
Our past experiences live in the body and entire system, not only in the mind. I believe it is important to work with the whole self when it comes to healing. My primary approach is somatic-- inviting the body into the conversation and processing emotion, energy and experience through the body-mind.

I’m April Quatrine, LPC, and I believe therapy begins with understanding yourself—not fixing yourself. I work primarily with adults navigating ADHD, autism, AuDHD, anxiety, trauma, and the challenges that can come with feeling different, overwhelmed, or misunderstood.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, I’ve worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including those navigating serious mental illness and complex trauma. These experiences have shaped my approach to seeing the whole person rather than simply a diagnosis. I also bring lived experience to my work, which has deepened my appreciation for how much courage it can take to understand ourselves, challenge old beliefs, and begin doing things differently.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming. I use evidence-based approaches while remaining curious about what works for each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all formula. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, strengths, needs, and goals while developing practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life.
I especially enjoy working with adults who have spent years wondering, “Why is this so hard for me?” or feeling as though they need to be someone they’re not. Therapy with me is not about eliminating every difficult emotion or changing who you are. It’s about developing greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and confidence in working with what you’ve got.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services to clients in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, and Oregon. I hold a master's degree in counseling with a specialization in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation, and I work with individuals navigating trauma, compulsive and problematic sexual behaviors, relationship concerns, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA2+ individuals and couples.
My advanced clinical training includes certification as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Relational Addiction and Complex Trauma Specialist (RACS), and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOPT). My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including The Meadows Model, Post-Induction Therapy (PIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Treatment is individualized to meet each client's unique experiences, goals, and strengths.
Effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. While addressing immediate concerns is important, lasting change often requires exploring the underlying experiences, beliefs, attachment patterns, and coping strategies that contribute to present-day struggles. By identifying and addressing these root causes, therapy can reduce current distress while building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier patterns for the future. My goal is to help clients not only find relief from today's challenges but also develop the insight and skills needed to navigate future obstacles with confidence and lasting growth.

Before I worked as a counselor I worked as a technical writer and software tester, and then as a caseworker in social services. I have also been a studio engineer with much work in audio and video editing and got to spend a year on the film festival circuit for a documentary I made about being an independent musician. All of those experiences I feel are helpful in working with clients from different backgrounds and perhaps in understanding that most of us want to find something meaningful in this life and often feel that we still don't know what our real calling.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I help men navigate the tension between high-demand careers and the challenges that can arise in their relationships and personal lives. If you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, disconnected from the people who matter most, or caught in unhealthy coping patterns, I provide a direct, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can better understand what's happening and create lasting change.
Together, we'll identify the underlying issues driving these patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, rebuild trust and connection, and develop practical tools to help you live with greater integrity, purpose, and confidence.
