I am a licensed clinical therapist working to help people overcome emotional issues, fears, and challenges in their lives. My aim is to help you achieve your goals and transform into the best version of yourself. My work involves assisting people in reducing their anxiety, alleviating depression and finding a higher purpose in one’s life to attain greater states of peace and fulfillment. I have worked in the field of mental health and addictions for over 10 years and am committed to helping people transform their lives for the better.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your goals, your current struggles, and what’s been helpful (or unhelpful) in the past. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and already a little more hopeful about the path ahead.
My therapeutic approach as a therapist entails blending evidence-based methods like CBT with mindfulness and transpersonal approaches that honor the whole person. I offer both structure and flexibility, meeting you where you are while guiding you toward lasting change. The practical tools I share with you in session are aimed to be delivered and taught in a form where you can immediately apply them in your daily life.
I work best with individuals who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, stress, or self-doubt, and who are ready to explore new ways of thinking and living. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about personal growth, want practical tools for everyday challenges, and value a holistic perspective that includes mind, body, and spirit.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. In my work, I use CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and take practical steps toward positive change. In sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we practice strategies such as reframing negative thoughts, problem-solving, and mindfulness-based techniques to create lasting improvements in daily life. My approach is supportive and structured, while also flexible to meet each person’s unique needs. I value CBT because it empowers clients with concrete tools they can use both in and outside of therapy. My goal is to help clients gain greater self-awareness, feel more in control of their emotions, and build confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
EMDR
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and use this modality to help clients process distressing memories, trauma, and negative core beliefs in a structured and compassionate way. My approach emphasizes creating a strong sense of safety and ensuring clients feel grounded and empowered throughout the process. I integrate EMDR with trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation strategies, and strengths-based support to help clients reduce emotional reactivity, shift unhelpful beliefs, and build resilience. Together, we identify specific targets, develop adaptive coping skills, and use bilateral stimulation to support the brain’s natural ability to heal.

Josh quickly made my decision to get therapy feel like the right one. I have wanted to get therapy for a long time but was always too scared to and Josh brings such a great energy to the session that it instantly felt easy to talk about things. Josh’s ability to understand and bring a level of emotional intelligence with perspective has helped me tremendously.

Josh made me feel very comfortable from the very start of our session and listened carefully to my concerns. I would also like to add that he seems like a very intelligent individual and I look forward to speaking to him again in our next session.

I felt Josh valued my feelings and listened with great intent. He offered ideas and suggestions to help me get unstuck with my day to day living. He showed compassion and sincerity, all qualities one should hope a good therapist has.
