I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in anxiety, identity exploration, and life transitions. I work with neurodivergent women and LGBTQ+ clients who are often high-functioning on the outside but feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected internally. I offer a supportive, collaborative space to build insight, reduce overwhelm, and create more grounded, authentic ways of living that feel aligned with who you are and where you’re headed.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a relaxed, virtual meeting where we can start getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, your history, and what you’re hoping for so I can get a fuller picture of you and what support might look like. We’ll also begin to talk through some initial goals, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out - this is really about starting a conversation and making sure it feels like a good fit. My goal is to make the space feel comfortable, collaborative, and easy to show up to as you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space that feels easy to talk in - warm, down-to-earth, and free of judgment. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up quickly, even about things that feel hard or messy. I bring over a decade of experience working across a variety of clinical settings, supporting clients with complex and diverse mental health needs. Clients tend to leave therapy with me feeling more grounded, more self-aware, and better equipped with practical tools to manage anxiety, navigate relationships, and move through life’s challenges with more confidence. At the core of my work is being present, supportive, and real with clients as they figure things out and make meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who seems put-together on the outside but internally feels anxious, overwhelmed, or like their mind won’t slow down. This often includes neurodivergent women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people who are exploring identity, navigating transitions, or moving through major life changes. I love working with clients who are thoughtful and self-reflective, and want a space to better understand themselves, feel more grounded, and make changes that actually feel aligned with who they are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize patterns in their thoughts that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, or feeling stuck. In sessions, we work together to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and find more balanced ways of responding to difficult situations. I tend to use CBT in a practical, supportive way that gives clients tools they can actually use outside of therapy.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients learn how to stop fighting against difficult thoughts and emotions and instead build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with them. In sessions, we focus on identifying what truly matters to you, building mindfulness and coping skills, and finding ways to move toward the life you want even when anxiety, stress, or self-doubt show up. I tend to use ACT in a very down-to-earth, collaborative way that feels practical and relatable rather than overly clinical.

Gender-affirming therapy

I provide gender-affirming therapy that centers each client’s identity, lived experience, and self-defined goals. In sessions, I offer a supportive space to explore gender identity, navigate transition-related stressors, and process the impact of societal or relational experiences. My approach is collaborative and affirming, focused on helping clients feel seen, supported, and more grounded in who they are.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients gain deeper insight into how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be impacting their current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. In sessions, we explore recurring themes, emotional reactions, and relationship dynamics in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. This work can help clients make sense of patterns they’ve felt stuck in for a long time and develop a stronger understanding of themselves.
