Have you been feeling little or no enjoyment in the things that used to bring you joy? Do you feel stuck in negative thought patterns or easily irritated? Maybe you are longing for close relationships with others, but once conflict arises or someone begins to be vulnerable, you become scared, which in turn leads you to pull away from those you love. My aim is to join with you in your therapeutic journey and merely facilitate the process of healing, as I believe each person has the potential and strength within them to overcome whatever adversity they have experienced. I look forward to knowing and understanding each person’s heart, as there is so much beauty, victory, and joy waiting to be unlocked within you all!

I create a space where you can show up—no pretense, no performance—just you. I don’t believe people are broken. The emotions and behaviors we judge ourselves for often started as survival strategies, ways we tried to protect ourselves from pain. Therapy with me is collaborative, candid, and built on trust. It’s not about fixing you—it’s about understanding yourself in a way that finally makes sense. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting clients through burnout, emotional dysregulation, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning and deeply committed—to their work, their families, or their values—but feel like something inside is fraying. Therapy with me isn’t about performance. It’s about finding the space to set the armor down, even briefly, and begin asking: What do I actually need? What parts of me have I had to silence to survive? You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, therapy can be where you start to lay the armor down and reconnect—with your values, your voice, and what truly matters. Growth isn’t about perfection; it’s about self-acceptance and clarity. Healing happens not through judgment, but through genuine understanding.

Anxiety & Sleeplessness Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work towards increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and how to move towards being your best self. Relationships Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Trauma and Healing Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. We work together through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Arizona rather than a city like Phoenix?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Arizona from Tucson to Mesa! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Arizona.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on Military/Veterans?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Military/Veterans, is filtering therapists in Arizona that work with patients with similar concerns.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
