LCSW, 30 years of experience
I am a therapist who specializes in Addiction Recovery, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. I prefer a Biopsychosocial approach to therapy. I recognize that past trauma, maladaptive thought patterns and environment contribute greatly to how we perceive others and how we "show up" in the world. My job is to challenge thought patterns and support growth while clients empower themselves to make change and develop strategies to improve circumstances.
I think clients should expect to be seen and heard. I hope to develop relationships where my clients feel safe enough to share experiences and that they also feel supported.
I am open, direct and solutions-focused. I feel that my personal background and experiences offer a unique perspective for change and growth.
Clients that I work with are challenged with how to work through current circumstances in a healthier way. They may have histories that include trauma and or substance abuse. I also prefer clients who can utilize Talk therapy to work towards solutions for change.
I have more than 30 years of experience working with Clients to help identify how much thinking patterns influence behavior
I specialize in finding solutions to assist individuals in identifying how to process and move through conflict

From my first session with Lynn, I feel very comfortable communicating and opening up to her, in spite of my nervousness with this being my first time ever in therapy talking about my feelings with someone I do not know. She made me feel understood & she was very warm. I look forward to more sessions with her to start my healing journey.

Ms. Lynn, is definitely warm, like an Aunt that gives great advice! She challenges your negative/ pessimistic thoughts or self talk and provides excellent positive reframing. She was very caring in how she initiated making appt with me when she saw I was in a bad place. I’m thankful I get to talk through life with her.
