I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, and life transitions. With over 25 years of experience, my work is grounded in evidence‐based practice, (CBT, DBT, ACT) with a deep commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and build meaningful change. I support both men and women who are navigating stress, relationship challenges, identity shifts, burnout, and the lingering impact of past trauma.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my priority is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll take things at your pace. I’ll invite you to share what’s been weighing on you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope will feel different in your life. You don’t need to have the “perfect” words—your honesty and presence are enough. I’ll ask gentle, grounding questions to understand your history, current stressors, and emotional patterns. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what you need to feel safe and steady in the therapeutic process. Many clients describe the first session as a chance to exhale, slow down, and finally talk about things they’ve been carrying alone. By the end of our time, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together, what support looks like for you, and the next steps in your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a deeply safe, steady, and nonjudgmental space, and my skill in helping clients understand their emotions in a way that feels grounding and empowering. I’m known for being warm, calm, and compassionate while also offering clear guidance and practical tools that clients can use right away. I bring a trauma‑informed lens to every session, helping clients make sense of their patterns, build healthier boundaries, and develop emotional regulation skills that support long‑term change. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood—sometimes for the first time in a long time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support clients who are carrying a lot emotionally and are ready for a healthier, more grounded way of living. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship patterns, or the lingering impact of trauma. They’re often high-capacity people who look strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected internally.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I bring a grounded, compassionate, and highly skilled approach to cognitive behavioral therapy, using it as a core framework to help clients understand and transform the patterns that keep them stuck. In your work, CBT becomes both practical and deeply supportive—you guide clients in identifying unhelpful thoughts, exploring how those thoughts shape emotions and behaviors, and developing healthier, more empowering ways of responding to life’s challenges.
