In your first session I want you to feel comfortable and have a that safe space where there is no judgement and open honesty to build that rapport with me. I am empathetic, honest and open and I provide direct feedback and education resources on your diagnosis and encouraged you to learn how to recognize signs and symptoms and how to manage also on going when done with therapy. I always look out for the best care and if I am not that fit with personality and therapy modality, I will assist in providing referrals and the reasoning why so there is no confusion. I am neurodivergent friendly being diagnosed with ADHD myself and I have experienced sensory and executive functioning issues and can relate to others who feel overwhelmed.
I have over 20 years of experience in the field of medical and mental health area and bring that knowledge and experience to this role. I also provide additional hours for availability if what is showing does not meet your needs just send me a message and I will accommodate to my best ability.
My ideal client is one who is active in wanting to get better and who is ready to be do the work and homework and understand also the science behind psychology and why the patterns of behaviors, responses and thinking happen and how they can be changed for the better.
