My mission is simple: to help women move from surviving to thriving. To help you rebuild confidence, reconnect with yourself, and move forward into a life that feels grounded, balanced, and authentic. You deserve more than just “getting by.” You deserve peace, clarity, and joy. Therapy is not about fixing you—you are not broken. It’s about uncovering the strength that has always been within you and learning how to live in alignment with your true self. If you are ready to begin—or even if you’re just curious about what healing could look like—I welcome you to take that step. I look forward to walking this journey with you.
Your first session with me is an opportunity to start building a strong, collaborative relationship and lay the foundation for our work together. In our work together, you can expect: A safe, nonjudgmental space where your story is honored. Practical tools and evidence-based strategies to help you manage symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and stress. Support that is both compassionate and empowering—I will listen deeply, but I will also gently challenge you to grow. A focus on strengths and resilience, not just struggles. A collaborative process—we are partners in your healing, and your voice matters in shaping our work together. Warm Welcome/Introduction We’ll begin with a warm and welcoming environment, whether online or in person. I’ll introduce myself and my approach to therapy, giving you a sense of who I am and how I work. This time is about creating a safe and comfortable space where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Discussing Your Reasons for Seeking Therapy The session will focus on understanding why you’ve decided to pursue therapy. I’ll ask open-ended questions about what brought you in, the challenges you’re facing, and any specific goals or changes you hope to achieve. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, grief, or navigating a life transition, this is a judgment-free zone where you can share at your own pace. Exploring Your History To get a fuller picture of your life, we’ll explore your personal history, including past experiences, relationships, and any previous counseling or mental health support you’ve received. This helps me understand the context of your current challenges and how they’ve impacted your life. We’ll also discuss any coping strategies you’ve used and what has or hasn’t worked for you. Setting Goals and Expectations Together, we’ll begin to outline what you want to achieve in therapy. Your goals may range from managing anxiety or processing trauma to improving relationships or enhancing self-confidence. I’ll explain how we can work toward these goals using evidence-based approaches, such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or Compassion-Focused Therapy, tailored to your needs. Explaining the Therapy Process I’ll take time to explain my therapeutic methods and how they align with your concerns. For example: If trauma is a focus, I may discuss how EMDR can help reprocess distressing memories. For anxiety or depression, I might outline how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help reshape negative thought

I also encourage ongoing feedback to ensure our work stays aligned with your evolving needs. Specialized Knowledge and Skills I bring in-depth experience working with issues such as: Military Life: Understanding the challenge
I specialize in supporting women through every stage of life, especially those who are navigating the difficult and often invisible wounds of narcissistic abuse recovery. Many of the women I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted from giving so much of themselves to relationships, families, or careers while receiving very little support in return. They may feel confused, doubting their own reality, and wondering how they became so disconnected from their true selves. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone—and healing is absolutely possible. My ideal clients are women who are tired of living in survival mode. They may be struggling with symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, or stress, or working through the unique transitions that come with menopause, parenting, marriage, divorce, or military life. Some are high-functioning professionals who appear “put together” on the outside but feel isolated and depleted on the inside. Others are just beginning to untangle themselves from a painful or toxic relationship and are searching for clarity, validation, and hope. No matter where you are in your journey, my role is to meet you exactly where you are. You don’t have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy. You don’t have to be “ready” in any particular way. You only need the willingness to take that first step, and I will walk alongside you. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified EMDR Therapist, Integrative Health Coach, and Trauma-Informed Clinical Yoga Practitioner, I bring a holistic and integrative approach to healing. I believe recovery is not just about reducing symptoms but about reconnecting with your whole self—mind, body, and spirit. EMDR Therapy: For trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one of the most powerful, evidence-based tools I use. EMDR can help you process painful memories, reduce triggers, and free yourself from the cycles of re-experiencing or self-doubt. Mind-Body Practices: Trauma often lives in the body. Through gentle, trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices, I help you reconnect with your body in a safe way, learning to release stored tension and build a sense of grounding. Integrative Health Coaching: True healing is whole-person healing. I work with you to explore areas like sleep, nutrition, movement, and self-care, integrating them into your recovery plan when relevant. Comp
I use EMDR to help clients process trauma, anxiety, and depression by targeting distressing memories and replacing them with healthier perspectives. This evidence-based approach fosters emotional healing and resilience, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. EMDR is integrated into a personalized, holistic treatment plan.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and stress. By focusing on practical strategies and behavioral changes, CBT empowers you to develop healthier perspectives and coping skills, fostering meaningful change and personal growth within a holistic framework.
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients cultivate self-compassion and reduce self-criticism, which can fuel anxiety, depression, and shame. By fostering kindness toward yourself and building emotional resilience, CFT supports healing and personal growth, integrated into a holistic approach tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients strengthen emotional connections, understand patterns in relationships, and address unresolved emotional pain. This approach fosters deeper self-awareness and healthier bonds, promoting healing and growth within a holistic, personalized framework tailored to your unique concerns and goals.
I use grief therapy to support clients in processing loss, honoring their emotions, and navigating the complexities of grief. Through a compassionate, personalized approach, I help you explore your unique experience, identify strengths, and find ways to heal and rebuild, fostering resilience and growth within a holistic framework.
