Baylee Morales
I am a wife and mother of two as well as originally from Wisconsin. I moved to Arizona to study at Arizona State. I received my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Arizona. I pride myself on being flexible and person-centered.
One therapy approach does not work for everyone, and it is my job to be flexible to meet each client's needs.
I use evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and EFT for couples work. I am also certified in trauma therapy.
First session
Through virtual appointments, I offer a convenient and comfortable way to help my clients achieve their personal and relational goals from wherever they are. The first session will be spent getting to know each other and creating goals that guide us as we move forward in our work together. No pressure, no judgement.
Strengths
I take a very person-centered approach to my sessions. If your personality requires more of a "sit quiet and listen" therapy style, then that is what we will have. If you are someone who wants to be challenged and guided, then we can use techniques more geared towards that. One approach does not work for everyone, and it is my job to be flexible to meet each client's needs.
Ideal clients
I am certified in trauma work, postpartum and perinatal, DBT, and grief therapy. I enjoy helping new parents as they navigate the major life transition of having children, helping a couple work through issues such as communication to regrow their relationship, or helping those going through major changes in their life. These are a few of the problems that some of my clients have come to therapy for and left finding their own voice and owning their choices.
