Hello, I’m Daed, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and Texas with over 13 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. I provide a warm, supportive, and real space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and start making meaningful changes at your own pace.

I am a bilingual therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Therapy with me is about helping you feel lighter, more grounded, and more connected to yourself and the people around you.

First session

I often use client centered skills during treatment and have a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. During our initial encounter we will explore your needs and decide what would be the most appropriate therapy modality for you. I like to utilize the time on our firsts session to build rapport, gather background information, discuss needs and perhaps identify treatment goals. I like to leave some time for any questions you might have and discuss scheduling.

Strengths

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, supported, and understood. In practice, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness- based work, and I adjust the mix depending on what you bring in. My goal is to help you gain insight into the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop the tools and confidence to move toward the life you want.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with client who are motivated and feel ready to make the changes they need. My specialty is working with children and adolescents however I very much enjoy working with adults . I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma, history of abuse and the symptoms associated with PTSD. We will collaborate to create a treatment plan that feels manageable to you with the purpose of helping you learn to cope with your symptoms.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have training and a certification in CBT. I typically utilize this treatment with clients who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. I also implement this treatment for clients struggling with intrusive thoughts/cognitive distortions.
