Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based out of Pennsylvania. I received a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University and two Master's from Grand Canyon University. I have over 10 years experiences working with Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety and Depression. I retired from the Army Reserves and I am a combat veteran. I help clients achieve their goals and be the best person they can be! I've worked in various settings and use my personal and professional experiences to help others.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions and get to know each other. We will identify specific goals that are tailored to you! We will identify your strengths and then create goals for us to work on. We will create the most comfortable environment for both of us.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've been practicing in the field for over 10 years, I have a wide array of skills. I get to know the clients and make them feel as comfortable as possible. I can help identified goals and work off of your strength to meet your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for over 10 years. CBT emphasizes the correlation between thoughts, feelings and actions and has been proven effective for mental health disorders to include anxiety and depression and substance abuse. CBT is a useful tool to help manage mental health symptoms, identify triggers and learn techniques/coping skills.

Motivational Interviewing

I have been using MI for over 10 years. MI is used to treat substance use disorders by helping people become motivated to change behaviors that are preventing them from making better choices. MI is a client centered approach which helps identify strengths and use the strengths in treatment to reach goals.
