New to Grow
Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes we need extra support to navigate its challenges. My work focuses on helping adults and teens manage anxiety, life transitions, trauma, crisis prevention, and maternal mental health. Using a solution-focused approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients develop practical tools to create meaningful change. While I take a goal-oriented approach, I believe therapy should also be a space where you feel heard and supported. I listen carefully, bring empathy to every session, and even incorporate humor when it feels right—because healing doesn’t always have to be heavy. If you’re looking for a therapist who will help you move forward with practical tools, compassionate guidance, and a bit of humor along the way, I’d love to connect.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a supportive, conversational space where I’ll ask thoughtful questions to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. Some questions may feel personal, but I move at a pace that feels comfortable and focus on building rapport rather than diving too deep too quickly. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and understood. Toward the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying the goals you’d like to focus on in our work together. This helps ensure our future sessions are intentional, structured, and aligned with what matters most to you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that it is practical, forward-moving, and focused on real-life change. I lean heavily into solution-focused work, helping you identify what’s within your control and explore realistic options for improving your life. Rather than staying stuck in the problem, we work together to generate strategies that feel doable and aligned with your values. I want you to leave sessions with clarity, direction, and tools you can actually use. My goal is to empower you to think through challenges with confidence so you can create meaningful change on your own terms.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) centers on helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm. I guide clients in recognizing cognitive distortions, developing more balanced thinking, and implementing practical behavioral strategies that create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on building skills clients can use independently outside of sessions.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
My experience with Solution-Focused Therapy emphasizes helping clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and build on what is already working. I focus on future-oriented conversations that highlight small, achievable steps toward meaningful change. By using techniques like scaling questions and exception-finding, I support clients in creating practical solutions and gaining momentum quickly.
