About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services to clients in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, and Oregon. I hold a master's degree in counseling with a specialization in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation, and I work with individuals navigating trauma, compulsive and problematic sexual behaviors, relationship concerns, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA2+ individuals and couples. My advanced clinical training includes certification as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Relational Addiction and Complex Trauma Specialist (RACS), and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOPT). My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including The Meadows Model, Post-Induction Therapy (PIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Treatment is individualized to meet each client's unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. While addressing immediate concerns is important, lasting change often requires exploring the underlying experiences, beliefs, attachment patterns, and coping strategies that contribute to present-day struggles. By identifying and addressing these root causes, therapy can reduce current distress while building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier patterns for the future. My goal is to help clients not only find relief from today's challenges but also develop the insight and skills needed to navigate future obstacles with confidence and lasting growth.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I believe therapy should provide a safe, supportive, and informed environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as you navigate life's challenges. Together, we will identify your needs, values, and goals while strengthening communication skills, establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, and creating a life that is more aligned with who you are and what matters most to you. While addressing current concerns is an important part of the therapeutic process, I also believe that lasting change comes from understanding the underlying experiences, patterns, and beliefs that influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By exploring these deeper roots, we can move beyond symptom relief to create meaningful, sustainable growth. My role is to provide a compassionate, knowledgeable, and collaborative space where you can gain insight, develop practical skills, and build the resilience needed to navigate both present and future challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with my clients. I believe effective therapy begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, values, strengths, and challenges rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to listen carefully, assess each client's individual needs, and collaborate with them to develop meaningful, personalized goals. My approach is both integrative and adaptable, drawing from evidence-based modalities while remaining responsive to each client's progress, changing needs, and stage of healing. I strive to balance compassion with accountability, creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable while also feeling challenged to grow. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work with clients to understand the underlying patterns contributing to their struggles so they can develop lasting insight, resilience, and meaningful change that extends well beyond the therapy room.
