I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing for 10 years and have life experience, in the transitions we all sustain, such as dating, marriage, careers, having children, family issues, trauma, illness, chronic pain etc. I specialize in managing the stressors of life, past traumas, and how this effects relationships. My passion is the support and management of great mental health for adults of all ages.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Client's upon their first session, can expect a warm compassionate start to therapy. We will explore what brings them to counseling and determine where they are and where they want to be. I would like to discuss any concerns or questions any client has in beginning therapy, and discuss how a personal treatment plan will be developed in collaboration with the client for measurable marks of improvements.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my strengths as a provider are making a warm connection with people, building rapport, understanding the dilemma's in life, and collaboration with others.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This method helps client's understand the connection of situations/triggers to thoughts, moods and behaviors.

Couples Counseling

The use of Gottman Therapy for couples counseling, assists in behavioral techniques designed to build trust and commitment, friendship, positive regard, conflict management and building shared meaning.

EMDR

This trauma reprocessing technique helps client's assimilate their past experiences to the present and future for repair and reduced stress.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

This treatment along with DBT emotional regulation skills is a great way to manage stress and stay in the present moment.

Compassion Focused

Being person centered in a therapy approach is compassion. This approach can highlight personal strengths and help accept our limitations.
