New to Grow
My communication style is warm, collaborative, down to earth, reassuring, warm and supportive. I focus on creating a safe space where clients feel heard, validated, and seen. I am a collaborative, practical therapist who helps individuals and couples reduce anxiety, improve communication, and shift unhelpful patterns. My approach blends evidence-based tools with relational awareness, supporting clients in creating meaningful change both in and outside of session.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is about getting to know the client and what issues are bringing them to therapy. My focus is on creating a warm, calm, and supportive space where clients can share at their own pace. It is about understanding what support looks like.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe we all deserve to live a life that is fulfilling and deeply satisfying, where one can embody their truest self. My approach stands out for its balance of evidence-based structure, emotional attunement, and practical tools that help clients reduce reactivity and improve real-world functioning.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who is motivated for change and curious about understanding themselves more deeply. They may be experiencing anxiety, relationship stress, or communication challenges and feel stuck in patterns that are no longer working. They are open to learning practical tools, reflecting on their role in relational dynamics, and applying new skills between sessions. Whether working individually or in a relationship, my ideal client values collaboration and is ready to move toward healthier, more intentional ways of responding rather than reacting.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and behavioral challenges. Sessions focus on increasing awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, developing cognitive restructuring skills, and practicing adaptive coping strategies. CBT interventions are collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to support clients in applying skills outside of session to improve daily functioning.
