New to Grow
Hello! I am an attachment-based, trauma-informed Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in helping adults understand and heal attachment patterns that often develop in relationships marked by emotional inconsistency, neglect, or psychological harm. This includes working with anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment styles, trauma bonding, and the lasting impact of emotionally abusive or invalidating relational dynamics. I am passionate about helping clients recognize that trauma is something that happened to them—not something they asked for or deserved. Many people carry shame or self-blame for experiences that were outside of their control, and part of my work is helping clients understand that their emotional responses make sense in the context of what they have been through. I also support individuals navigating anxiety and women’s issues, including relationship challenges, self-worth, life transitions, and the pressure many women experience to prioritize others’ needs over their own. My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, gaining insight into their relational patterns, and building healthier, more secure connections with themselves and others.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I offer a warm, grounding space where you can slow down, feel deeply understood, and make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy becomes a place to reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels aligned, authentic, connected, and fully your own.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe everyone deserves a place where their feelings are met with empathy and compassion. Many people struggle silently with life’s difficulties, and I want to help normalize those struggles while supporting them in healing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I support clients in finding relief from stuck, painful cycles by offering a compassionate and secure therapeutic environment. Together, we work to build greater clarity, emotional safety, and opportunities for growth—both within relationships and within oneself.
Narrative
I use narrative and collaborative approaches in my sessions, which means we work together to explore the stories that shape how you see yourself and your experiences. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and therapy is a space where we can reflect on challenges, highlight your strengths, and discover new possibilities. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful conversation where you feel heard and empowered.
Attachment-based
I also draw from attachment-based perspectives in my work. Our early relationships can shape how we experience connection, trust, and safety with others. In therapy, we gently explore these patterns and how they may show up in current relationships. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can better understand your needs, build healthier connections, and experience more secure and meaningful relationships.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed perspective, which means I prioritize safety, trust, and respect in our work together. I understand that past experiences can shape how people feel, think, and respond to the world. In sessions, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on building awareness, coping skills, and self-compassion while supporting your healing and resilience.
Christian Counseling
For clients who would like it included, I also offer a Christian perspective in therapy. This can involve exploring faith, values, and spiritual beliefs as part of the healing process. My goal is to create a supportive space where faith can be integrated in a way that feels meaningful and respectful of your personal journey.
