New to Grow
Hello, I'm Kristin, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. I provide telehealth therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and personal growth obstacles. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should be both empowering and practical, helping you develop the insight and skills needed to thrive in your daily life.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of the process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also talk about your goals and begin identifying areas we can work on together. I’ll answer any questions you have and explain how therapy will work moving forward. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and to have a clearer idea of what working together will look like.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with clients. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where people feel safe, heard, and understood. I combine compassion with practical guidance, helping clients gain insight while developing realistic strategies for change. I also bring experience working with diverse individuals facing a variety of life challenges, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and goals. My approach balances empathy, accountability, and encouragement, empowering clients to recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and make lasting progress. For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate faith-based perspectives into the therapeutic process.
We work best with individuals who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and the weight of trying to “hold it all together.” Many of our clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel stuck, burned out, or unsure of their next steps. They may be dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, or patterns that no longer serve them. Clients come to our practice looking for more than just a place to vent—they’re ready for clarity, growth, and real change. Our team provides a supportive and structured environment where clients feel seen, challenged, and empowered. Together, we help identify patterns, build practical tools, and create a clear path forward so clients can move from simply surviving to truly thriving.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and other emotional difficulties. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical tools and coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life. My goal is to help clients build healthier thinking patterns, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting positive change.
Faith based therapy
For clients who desire it, I offer faith-based counseling that integrates Christian principles and spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process. I believe faith can be a powerful source of strength, healing, and hope. Together, we can explore how spiritual values, prayer, scripture, and a relationship with God may support emotional wellness and personal growth while addressing life's challenges. Faith integration is always tailored to the client's comfort level and individual beliefs.
Motivational Interviewing
I utilize Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, values, and motivations for change in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I collaborate with them to strengthen their confidence, resolve ambivalence, and identify their own reasons for making meaningful changes. This approach is especially helpful for individuals navigating life transitions, behavior change, substance use concerns, and personal growth.
