In the first therapy session, clients can anticipate a welcoming and safe environment to discuss their concerns. We will begin by exploring their goals and reasons for seeking therapy. I will explain the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Assessing their personal history and current concerns is a crucial part of the session. Together, we will set treatment goals. Clients will have the chance to share their emotions, and I may introduce some therapeutic techniques or coping skills. We will also discuss session logistics, and if applicable, homework assignments. The first session is a starting point for building trust and addressing the client's unique needs and aspirations.
I relish the prospect of working with others, both as part of a team working towards a common goal, and also working face-to-face with individuals and families from all walks of life to provide them with assistance.
I am best positioned to support individuals who are ready to do deeper, meaningful work—especially those who may appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected within. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, mood instability, life transitions, or unresolved grief while still trying to show up for their families, careers, and responsibilities. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection and curious about the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just a willingness to explore, grow, and be honest with yourself. My ideal client may be: Struggling with overthinking, emotional highs and lows, or feeling stuck Carrying unprocessed trauma or grief Trying to break cycles in relationships or family patterns Experiencing burnout from constantly being “the strong one” Interested in holistic healing, including the connection between mind, body, and natural approaches In our work together, the goal is not just symptom relief—but building awareness, emotional regulation, and practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT with a holistic lens, helping you reconnect with yourself in a grounded, sustainable way. If you're looking for a space where you can be real, feel supported, and challenged in a healthy way, we’ll likely be a good fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I have significant experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a treatment method. CBT is a widely recognized and evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Over the years, I have successfully used CBT to help clients address a variety of mental health concerns and achieve positive outcomes.

She stood out to me because I felt like she would make me feel at home. And I was absolutely correct! She is everything, AND MORE, for what I said was searching for in a therapist! I'm looking forward to what's in store!

I appreciate how authentic and down-to-earth she is. No fluff or judgment, just honest conversation and meaningful support. Every session feels purposeful. Instead of just listening, she helps me identify patterns and find realistic, doable solutions. It’s clear she genuinely cares about progress, not just processing.
