I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, ADHD and insomnia. My approach is founded in psychodynamic principles. I am collaborative and integrative, also drawing from CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based practices, and CBT-I when appropriate. I aim to create a supportive space where clients can build insight, develop practical coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes aligned with their values and goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and goals so we can begin to understand your needs. We’ll also discuss what you’d like to get out of therapy and start identifying priorities for our work together. You’re welcome to move at your own pace, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. By the end of the session, we’ll begin outlining a plan for treatment and next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take a collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based methods such as Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and CBT-I when appropriate. My work supports clients in gaining insight into their patterns while also developing concrete tools for change. I aim to balance exploration with structure, helping clients reflect meaningfully while also building skills that translate into everyday life and sustainable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who are motivated to understand themselves better and make meaningful changes in their lives. I work well with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, ADHD and sleep difficulties. I’m especially a good fit for clients who are open to exploring patterns, building coping skills, and engaging in both insight-oriented and practical, skills-based work. I also support clients who value a collaborative approach to therapy while being open to reflection, mindfulness, and gradual behavioral change.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By exploring these patterns, we gain insight, strengthen self-awareness, and create opportunities for lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When appropriate I use Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, develop healthier thinking patterns, and build practical coping skills. Together, we focus on current concerns, set goals, and practice strategies that support positive changes in emotions and behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-based approaches to help clients increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. Through mindfulness practices, clients learn to stay present, manage stress, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges with greater clarity and intention.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

When working with those struggling with insomnia disorder I use CBT-I to help clients improve sleep by identifying behaviors and thoughts that contribute to insomnia. Treatment may include sleep scheduling, stimulus control, sleep consolidation, relaxation techniques, and strategies to reduce worry about sleep and improve restful sleep.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients develop psychological flexibility by accepting difficult thoughts and emotions rather than struggling with them. Clients learn mindfulness skills, clarify personal values, and take meaningful actions that support a richer, more fulfilling life.
