I am a therapist with a strong background in education, behavior analysis, and psychological research. I hold a doctorate in psychology, am a Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPCC), and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My work is highly data-informed and grounded in evidence-based treatment, with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and practical skill development. My clinical approach blends behavioral and cognitive strategies with mindfulness-based and somatic practices. I value the structure and effectiveness of behavioral interventions while also recognizing the importance of emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and mind-body connection. This balanced approach allows me to support both observable behavior change and internal emotional processes. I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can apply strategies more effectively in their daily lives. I aim to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment that is both compassionate and goal-oriented, where clients feel understood while actively working toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will review your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also discussing what has and has not been helpful for you in the past. This session is collaborative and paced to your comfort level. I also use the first session to explain how I work, including the structure of sessions, the role of evidence-based and skills-focused approaches, and how mindfulness and somatic strategies may be incorporated when appropriate. We may begin identifying initial goals or patterns, but there is no pressure to “fix” everything right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, informed, and clear about next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to integrate data-driven, evidence-based treatment with a compassionate and mindful therapeutic presence. With a background in behavior analysis and psychology, I focus on identifying patterns, measuring progress, and using interventions that are supported by research, while remaining flexible to each client’s individual needs. I am skilled at translating complex psychological concepts into clear, practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives. Through psychoeducation, behavioral planning, and mindfulness-based tools, I help clients build insight alongside concrete skills. Clients often appreciate my structured yet supportive style, as well as the balance between thoughtful analysis and emotional attunement. Another strength of my approach is consistency and follow-through. I prioritize goal clarity, ongoing evaluation of what is working, and adjustment when something is not effective. This allows therapy to remain purposeful, collaborative, and focused on meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help adults navigating trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD, especially those who feel stuck in overthinking, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. They usually are the executives of an office or high powered but have a hard time shutting down their own minds. Together we uncover root patterns and build tools for clarity, regulation, and real change using CBT, somatic work, executive function strategies, and mindfulness techniques.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and examine unhelpful thought patterns, core beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. In practice, I collaborate with clients to develop practical coping strategies, behavioral experiments, and cognitive reframing techniques that support measurable and sustainable change.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients understand the psychological, emotional, and physiological processes that underlie their experiences. By providing clear, evidence-based information, I support clients in making sense of symptoms, normalizing their responses, and increasing their ability to apply skills and strategies effectively outside of sessions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. This approach supports emotional regulation, stress reduction, and increased psychological flexibility by helping clients respond rather than react to internal experiences.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use a solution-oriented approach to help clients clarify goals, identify existing strengths, and focus on actionable steps toward change. Rather than dwelling solely on problems, I guide clients in recognizing what is already working and how to build on those successes in realistic and attainable ways.

Somatic

I integrate somatic techniques to help clients connect with their bodies as a source of information and regulation. By focusing on physical sensations, nervous system responses, and grounding strategies, I support clients in processing stress and trauma in a way that complements cognitive and emotional work.
