LMFT, 7 years of experience
Hi there! I’m a therapist originally from Virginia, with deep passion for the LGBTQ+ and African American communities. My heart and practice has also been shaped by seven vibrant years in San Francisco. My approach is creative, compassionate, and affirming. I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self. Outside of therapy, I’m deeply inspired by music (of all genres), art, and all things creative. I bring that same spirit into my work, helping clients tap into their own resilience, insight, and expression.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where YOU set the pace. We'll explore what’s coming up for you emotionally, mentally, and/or physically, and work together to build insight in the context of your presenting concern. Some days may be deep and reflective, some more focused on practical support, while others may be more based on empathic connection. Wherever you are, I’ll meet you there.

I specialize in working with African American and/or LGBTQ+ individuals navigating challenges related to eating disorders, substance use, depression, and anxiety. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or carrying shame around their body, coping mechanisms, or identity. I work well with people who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply—even if they feel hesitant or unsure where to start. This does not mean that I only work with these clients however, I am truly here to see clients where they're at.
We can utilize CBT to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, shift behaviors, and build healthier coping strategies. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and goal-focused.
We can utilize psycho-education to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. By learning about mental health patterns, you gain insight and feel more empowered in your healing. I aim to break down complex ideas into clear, practical tools that support real-life change and self-awareness.
Through IFS, we will explore the different parts of you with curiosity and care. We can build a deeper connection to your core Self, so you can feel more grounded, empowered, and whole. Together, we’ll create space for healing and inner harmony.
With a trauma-informed approach, we will create a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. We can move at your pace, build trust, and gently explore past experiences without judgment. Collaboratively, we’ll focus on healing, resilience, and reclaiming your sense of control and wholeness.

My first session I felt very @ ease w him today. He asks for feedback , gives his thought on future care. Explains that these first meeting will be for us to engage and discuss my issues/ experiences. He seems very non judgmental, responsive and too focused on me & my situation. And he seems very much like he is going to be a good fit in the long run.
