Hi! I'm Jen Tucker, a licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about serving others. I'm a military veteran and a military spouse. I'm also a wife, mom, and grandmother. I've been through a lot in my life. Most of you have too. After all, you find yourself here looking for something. It is my firm belief that each and every one of us has tremendous potential. We all have unique talents and skills, honed and sharpened through our life experiences. These experiences, while crucial to shaping us, can also leave us hurt, confused, numb, or insecure. It is paramount that we stop along our journey to take stock, address our needs, heal, and refocus. Sometimes, we realize we may benefit from having extra support or guidance through these moments. That is where therapy can help. Throughout my counseling career, I have had the privilege of being able to walk beside clients as they process the past, learn to be comfortable in the present, and get excited for the future. I am certified in trauma and treat clients with a wide range of concerns. Whether you feel ready to dive into therapy, or you are just contemplating the idea, I'd love to hear from you. I am currently accepting video clients for individual therapy. If you aren't ready to make contact, I have some resources available for self-reflection. Check out my blog at NotWavingButDrowning.org or my TikTok @MHMinute, where you'll find videos on a variety of mental health topics.

I am an independently licensed therapist out of Minnesota, I have been working as a therapist since 2022. Before coming to Grow Therapy, I worked at an Autism focused clinic and I absolutely LOVED the experience. While working there, I was able to utilize numerous resources and expertise to build my knowledge and understanding of clients who have dynamic needs of medical, educational, occupational, interpersonal understanding, regulation, social and family relationships. My clinical background in general is not limited to the diagnoses above, I am open to working with a variety of diagnoses anxiety, depression, etc. My clinical skills show strengths in areas of supporting others work through interpersonal conflict, life adjustment, developing resiliency, navigating intense emotions, and develop personal understanding. Educating and supporting others through the process of understanding how to best support themselves with the tools we have, this is often a guiding component to how I support. I try to make therapy engaging and interactive for each individual to support effectiveness of therapy. I also identify apart of the BIPOC and LGBTQAI+ population and enjoy serving those who also identify within these populations. My focus for client's is to establish emotionally safe and non-judgmental spaces.

Do you find yourself overthinking, carrying too much, or feeling stuck in patterns that you understand but still struggle to change? I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, major life transitions, self-doubt, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. I’m Cristina, a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist. Originally from Spain and having lived across cultures myself, I bring a culturally responsive perspective to therapy and understand that relationships, family, culture, and life experiences can shape how we see ourselves and respond to stress. My style is warm and supportive, but I am also active and curious in the therapy process. I ask thoughtful questions, help you make connections, and gently challenge patterns or assumptions when doing so may help you see something differently. Together, we work toward greater self-understanding while identifying practical ways to respond differently. Therapy with me is not only about coping with symptoms; it is also about building healthier relationships and making more intentional choices about how you want to move forward.

Therapy doesn't need to feel mysterious or overly formal. I approach my work with curiosity, honesty, and a healthy respect for the complexity of being human. Since 2017, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of mental health settings, including intensive outpatient, residential, and inpatient psychiatric programs. I received my MSW in 2020 and have been practicing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 2023. I strive to meet people where they're at while offering transparent and direct feedback. Sometimes that means sitting with difficult emotions, and sometimes it means gently challenging beliefs, internal narratives, or patterns that may be getting in the way of the life you want.

I always work from a strength based approach. You are the author of you own life and we will work together to write the next chapter. I have been in this business of helping people find their path and heal for over 40 years. If you are looking for a mature therapist who understands your needs and concerns we will work together easily. My degree is in Clinical Social Work but my credentials are a life process of experiencing many challenges and losses and striving to learn and grow from all of them, everyday, all the time. I have a wicked sense of humor and a strong sense of the irony and quirkiness of life. I have been a professional counselor for 18 years. Counseling is my second career, after working for twenty years in business management. My background and training include experience with addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety & chronic pain . I consider myself to be warm, empathetic, articulate and honest. My counseling style involves a patient-centered approach (you are the focus), along with values clarification and thought clarification (cognitive-behavioral) elements. I believe every successful client/counselor relationship begins by developing a sense of safety and trust for the client. Given the state of the world these days, many people are struggling emotionally. People come to therapy in hopes of finding a possible solution to problems and to feel better. It is my job to help you meet those needs. In general, I often work with clients who may have issues with personal addiction, family members with addiction, or individual issues with anxiety and/or depression. Together, we will identify your challenges and your goals - where your life is now, and where you would like to to be in the future. While I may use my experience and expertise to generate possible ideas and actions to take, the ultimate direction of help rests with you, the client.

My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experience was in big-box retail environments or corporate offices, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March 2010 after earning my Master’s degree in Human Services, with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctoral degree in Human and Social Services. This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.

Welcome – I’m William Sawyer, MSW, LICSW, LCSW Online Therapy for Individuals and Couples in Minnesota & Florida I’m a therapist who help people and couples when life feels really hard. Most of the people I work with are men and women in relationships with each other. Many come to me when they’re feeling hurt, lost, or scared their relationship might fall apart. If you and your partner are fighting all the time, feeling distant, or just can’t seem to fix things, I want you to know you’re not alone-and things can get better. Even though I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I work with all kinds of people. I have a lot of experience helping men and women who are married or dating each other, as well as people from different backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ folks. My way of helping is gentle, caring, and never judgmental. When you’re stressed out, anxious, or overwhelmed, I help you slow down, breathe, and see what’s really going on. We’ll talk through your worries and pain, and I’ll give you tools you can use right away to feel calm and in control. My approach helps couples talk without yelling, listen without shutting down, and start feeling close again-even when things seem hopeless. I also help people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or feeling different from others. No matter what you’re facing, my goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and less alone. Together, we’ll find ways to ease your stress and bring back hope. If you feel like you’re at the end of your rope, or just want someone to talk to who gets it, I’m here for you. We’ll work together to heal old wounds and help you feel stronger-both as a person and as a couple. If you’re ready to feel better, let’s talk.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with almost two decades of experience providing psychotherapy. I started Minnesota Mental Health Services in 2017, which is a private practice in Mankato, Minnesota. Most therapists try to “help” their patients. This allows the patient to continue to manipulate their environment instead of relying on self-support. I offer my skills and understanding of personality, the analysis of interpersonal communication, "games," and life-script.

Experiencing life challenges like disappointments, stress, life transitions, trauma, heartbreak without emotional support can leave us stuck or in unhealthy patterns of behavior. Also sometimes it's helpful to have someone as a sounding board for life and decision-making. The modalities I utilize are person-centered, solution-focused, EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and attachment theory. I tailor my approach to the betterment of the client. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 10 years experience working with children, families and adults journeying to their established goals. I have a passion for people not feeling alone, challenging unproductive behaviors and thoughts, processing trauma, clients learning how to own their life by living it on their terms, developing resilience and clients feeling seen and heard. My analytical, curious and empathetic nature invites clients toward building lives of emotional stability and a healthy self. As we navigate the joys and pains of being human, I would be honored to join you on your journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 20 years of experience working with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, life transitions, and complex mental health concerns. My career has included outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient treatment, veterans' mental health, substance use treatment, forensic behavioral health, and clinical leadership. These experiences have taught me that people are rarely defined by a diagnosis or a single difficult chapter in their lives. I try to understand the whole person—their experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and what matters most to them. My style is warm, straightforward, collaborative, and practical. I won't simply tell you what you want to hear, but I also won't judge you for where you are. I believe good therapy should give you a place to feel understood while also helping you develop insight, skills, and realistic strategies for moving forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy. I tailor these approaches to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular treatment model. You don't need to be in crisis to begin therapy, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you start. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for something to change, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and begin figuring out what comes next. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only feeling heard, but also feeling more capable of handling your life with greater clarity, confidence, and choice.

Welcome! I am Robyn. These days many people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and depressed. Sometimes they feel as if no matter what they do, it isn't enough and either they or those around them are never happy with themselves. How about you? Are you trying to manage to be the best parent, spouse, and employee that you can be? Are you struggling with a recent life transition or the loss of a loved one or relationship? Are you lying awake at night reviewing the list of things you think you should have accomplished? Or are you ruminating on what you said to someone, how you said it, and what you should have done differently? You are not alone! Many people experience these feelings and you do not have to continue to feel like this! You CAN FEEL BETTER! I work with adults of all ages who are struggling with these things by providing a safe space to talk about and work through these issues. I strive to empower them to discern their strengths, their priorities, and the barriers to feeling better. Once we’ve done that, I help them find ways to address those barriers and build new coping skills they can use to overcome the challenges of anxiety, depression, managing change, and people-pleasing. Change is not easy! I am impressed by your courage in taking the first step of asking for help to start your journey toward feeling better! You deserve to have someone skilled and trustworthy to guide you to grow and heal. I will compassionately work with you using evidence-based techniques to get beyond the challenges you are experiencing and on the road to feeling better! I’d love to have the privilege of working with you!

Hello, and welcome. I know that reaching out for help isn’t always easy, and I want to acknowledge your courage in taking this step. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your personal story. I work best with adults and young adults who are navigating communication and relationship issues, addictions, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Minnesota. If you’re struggling with feelings of overwhelm, self-doubt, or just need a space to sort through what’s weighing on you, I’m here to listen and walk alongside you. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. Our sessions are conversational, relaxed, and focused on what matters most to you. I believe in tailoring our work to fit your needs, whether that means building coping skills, improving relationships, or finding clarity during difficult times. I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who feel lost, isolated, or unsure about their next steps. If you value honesty, openness, and want a therapist who will meet you with genuine care, you’ll likely feel at home here. However, my style may not be the best fit for those seeking highly structured, directive therapies or those who prefer a more clinical, formal atmosphere. I want to be upfront so you can make the best choice for yourself. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning, I invite you to reach out. I’m here to support you, wherever you are on your journey.

Hi everyone, I’m a Therapist with 11 years of experience, two Master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s from UC Berkeley. I specialize in: 1) Anxiety and helping people overcome the constant thought spiral that overwhelms them or the negative things they tell themselves and just can't seem to escape. 2) Helping men who are struggling with sexual dysfunction, performance anxiety, or worry that’s taking over their daily life. 3) Guiding men and women who are navigating relationships and relationship difficulties of all kinds—familial, friendships, romantic (monogamous, polyamorous, open, or still figuring it out)—and the communication challenges that come with them. My approach is grounded in helping you understand your thought patterns, where they may be a disservice to you and how to change them in order to create behavioral change. We’ll set clear goals together and break them down into doable steps, and I’ll be here to encourage you rather than judge you if things feel hard along the way. I also make a point of highlighting the strengths you already have and reminding you of them on the days you forget. Supporting people in feeling less alone, more understood, and genuinely heard is the part of this work that brings me joy. Please note: I don’t provide couples counseling, but I do offer individual therapy focused on relationship concerns, intimacy, and identity. I am LGBTQ+ and kink‑affirming. This is a safe space.

It is my greatest honor to build genuine connections with clients while witnessing them grow right out of therapy! I’m a bit of an odd duck - energetic, sincere and known to enjoy a good laugh in session. To amplify the impacts of traditional therapy methods (primarily CBT), I enjoy helping clients blend their unique talents, interests and spirituality into our work together. The types of spiritual beliefs/practices I'm most familiar with include Mysticism, Nonduality and Christianity. Going through or been through a spiritual (re)awakening? I've got you!! I am also passionate about supporting clients' creativity to reach goals more efficiently and increase overall long-term wellbeing. *Side note: I do not offer testing for ADHD, autism, or bipolar disorders.

Hello, my name is Matthew Cruz, but many people call me Matt. I specialize in treating adult individuals. I enjoy talking with people about their problems, offering them support, and helping them to find a way forward. My background is in treating substance use and Eating Disorders. As such, I am familiar with a variety of treatment approaches, including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. However, I am looking for what approach works for each individual and am not attached to any one mode of treatment. I enjoy helping people explore meaning and symbolism in their world through a person centered approach to treatment. For those that are interested, I am comfortable incorporating faith and spiritual practice into the treatment experience. I do not provide couples or family therapy. When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Minnesota. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Minnesota from Saint Paul to Rochester! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Minnesota.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
