LPCC, 18 years of experience
New to Grow
For the past eighteen years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, children, and families across both clinical and K–12 educational settings. My professional journey has included roles as a Professional School Counselor, 504 Coordinator/Learning Specialist, and Clinical Therapist, giving me a unique understanding of how emotional, cognitive, and learning needs intersect. Over time, my view of mental health has expanded. I’ve always been interested in nutrition, movement, sleep, and lifestyle as contributors to emotional wellness. But everything shifted when I began integrating mindfulness, contemplative practices, and a deeper exploration of hormone health—both personally and professionally. Understanding how hormones influence mood, stress, and cognition opened an entirely new dimension of care. I now approach therapy through a whole-person lens that honors the connection between mind, body, hormones, and environment.
Your first session is an important step in beginning our work together. It’s a chance for us to start building a connection, and for me to get to know you—not just your challenges, but also your goals, values, and strengths. During this initial meeting, we’ll go through a formal intake process. I’ll ask a variety of questions about your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, any previous experiences with counseling, and your overall mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This helps me understand the bigger picture and tailor our work to best support you. While it may feel like a lot at first, my goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel heard and supported. We’ll also talk about what you'd like to get out of therapy and begin identifying the direction we’ll take together. You’re welcome to ask questions, share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and let me know what you need to feel at ease.
I’m especially well-suited to work with clients who are ready to explore the mind-body connection, are open to a whole-person approach, and value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. If you’re looking for a space that honors both your challenges and your capacity to grow, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
I’m a therapist who works with adolescents and adults, and I specialize in helping individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or defined by their struggles rediscover their strengths and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, dealing with anxiety or stress, or simply feeling out of alignment, I’m here to support you. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and action-oriented. I believe therapy works best when it balances a safe space to share your struggles with practical steps toward your goals. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and identify new ways to create positive change. My style is collaborative, warm, and honest.
I use a holistic approach to counseling that supports and empowers clients as they navigate the many stages and transitions in their lives. I strive to nurture relationships based on mutual respect and trust. I believe in the principles of functional medicine, which include addressing the whole person rather than just treating symptoms. I firmly believe that mental and physical health are not separate. I believe the best results are achieved when clients and practitioners work together. By applying a client-centered approach with each person, I provide counseling that is respectful of individual values and needs. My mission is to empower individuals and organizations through support and resources to improve their overall health and wellness.
