Do you find yourself overthinking, carrying too much, or feeling stuck in patterns that you understand but still struggle to change? I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, major life transitions, self-doubt, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. I’m Cristina, a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist. Originally from Spain and having lived across cultures myself, I bring a culturally responsive perspective to therapy and understand that relationships, family, culture, and life experiences can shape how we see ourselves and respond to stress. My style is warm and supportive, but I am also active and curious in the therapy process. I ask thoughtful questions, help you make connections, and gently challenge patterns or assumptions when doing so may help you see something differently. Together, we work toward greater self-understanding while identifying practical ways to respond differently. Therapy with me is not only about coping with symptoms; it is also about building healthier relationships and making more intentional choices about how you want to move forward.

Break the generational cycles that compromise your clarity and presence. I provide a framework to navigate the 'unwritten rules'—the inherited expectations and family scripts—that drive burnout. We move beyond venting into a structured roadmap, designed to optimize your mental capacity for your family, your career, and your future stewardship. This approach is for those who feels the weight of performance and expectations. We focus on Relational Integrity: the ability to be the person you want to be even when the pressure is high. We audit the 'Family Playbook'—the silent rules we grew up with that dictate how we handle conflict, pressure, and connection today. By understanding these blueprints, we don't just solve for stress; we restore the stability and quality of your home. It’s about moving from 'white-knuckling' your way through the day towards a reliable, clear-headed presence for the people who matter most. Whether you are navigating burnout, career stress or simply trying to be a more grounded parent and partner, our sessions are a straightforward collaboration. I offer a space that is objective, structured, and goal oriented. We aren't here to dwell on the past; we are here to understand it so you can move forward with purpose and clarity. This is about ensuring the environment you’re building is one of stability and reliability.

Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota). I work with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance. I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.

I've been through a lot in my life. Most of you have too. After all, you find yourself here looking for something. It is my firm belief that each and every one of us has tremendous potential. We all have unique talents and skills, honed and sharpened through our life experiences. These experiences, while crucial to shaping us, can also leave us hurt, confused, numb, or insecure. It is paramount that we stop along our journey to take stock, address our needs, heal, and refocus. Sometimes, we realize we may benefit from having extra support or guidance through these moments. That is where therapy can help. Throughout my counseling career, I have had the privilege of being able to walk beside clients as they process the past, learn to be comfortable in the present, and get excited for the future. I am certified in trauma and treat clients with a wide range of concerns. Whether you feel ready to dive into therapy, or you are just contemplating the idea, I'd love to hear from you. Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own especially in the context of substance use disorders being highly stigmatized. I focus on substance use treatment approaches with a functionality mindset to work on setting reasonable goals and expectations during the clinical process. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms. I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.

Fall can be a wonderful season to focus on your mental health journey. While spring brings renewal, fall offers a powerful opportunity to turn inward, recharge, and set new intentions. Just as the leaves change gradually, real personal growth happens at its own steady pace. Therapy provides a grounded, safe, encouraging space to honor where you are, discover what you need, and build meaningful progress—one step at a time. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), and I’ve spent my career helping adults navigate the ups and downs life throws our way. After several years working in Social Services and Mental Health fields, I returned to school as a non-traditional student to pursue my master’s in social work. Before opening my private practice, for 20 years, I served as both a Clinical Supervisor and Therapist, supporting adults as they work toward meaningful mental health recovery and long-term wellbeing. I will help you make a plan that fits your style and is an investment in life-long benefits. I enjoy helping people recognize their own strengths and challenges. I encourage hope through skill building and reducing negative symptoms. Searching for a therapist is a huge and brave first step, and I’m genuinely glad you’re here. You deserve support, validation, and a space that helps you move toward the life you want. Please reach out to me, or book a session for a Tuesday or Thursday on my website, so that we can work together to build a life worth living for you.

My goal is to work with each person individually from a person-centered perspective. My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, post-partum depression, parenting, chronic illness, and grief. I am available to see clients in Kentucky in-person or telehealth, and Michigan or Minnesota via telehealth. The person centered approach means that the client is the center of everything from the initial assessment, to the development of the goals, to the treatment that is provided. It is important that you know you are accepted and with therapy you are able to address the concerns you have and learn to effectively work through them. I understand therapy can feel uncomfortable and the thought of sharing yourself with someone you don't know (yet) can be overwhelming. Hello, my name is Matthew Cruz, but many people call me Matt. I specialize in treating adult individuals. I enjoy talking with people about their problems, offering them support, and helping them to find a way forward. My background is in treating substance use and Eating Disorders. As such, I am familiar with a variety of treatment approaches, including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. However, I am looking for what approach works for each individual and am not attached to any one mode of treatment. I enjoy helping people explore meaning and symbolism in their world through a person centered approach to treatment. For those that are interested, I am comfortable incorporating faith and spiritual practice into the treatment experience. I do not provide couples or family therapy. Feel free to reach out to me with further questions!

You don't need to have it all figured out before you begin — that's okay. I know that first step can feel like the hardest one to take. All you need is the willingness to take it. I help adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, chronic health conditions, pain, or major life changes reconnect with themselves and feel more in control of their lives. I began my social work career in 2006 in medical social work, hospice, and home health, supporting individuals and families through chronic illness, serious health concerns, loss, and difficult transitions. These experiences shaped my understanding of the deep connection between physical health and emotional well-being. I became a mental health provider because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered. I'm passionate about helping people regain a sense of themselves, find hope, and develop tools to move forward through trauma, stress, and difficult circumstances. Sometimes life simply becomes too much, and it's okay to say, "This is hard," and ask for help. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, chronic health conditions, pain, medical trauma, and traumatic experiences. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, clinical hypnosis, IFS-informed and parts-based approaches, Ego State Therapy, Imaginal Nurturing, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), tailored to each client's needs and goals. I believe wellness is holistic — we don't get sick one way, and we don't get well one way. Mental and physical health are deeply connected, and I'm here to support your whole-person well-being through counseling, so you can get back to being you and enjoy life again.

It is my greatest honor to build genuine connections with clients while witnessing them grow right out of therapy! I’m a bit of an odd duck - energetic, sincere and known to enjoy a good laugh in session. To amplify the impacts of traditional therapy methods (primarily CBT), I enjoy helping clients blend their unique talents, interests and spirituality into our work together. The types of spiritual beliefs/practices I'm most familiar with include Mysticism, Nonduality and Christianity. Going through or been through a spiritual (re)awakening? I've got you!! I am also passionate about supporting clients' creativity to reach goals more efficiently and increase overall long-term wellbeing. *Side note: I do not offer testing for ADHD, autism, or bipolar disorders.

Hi there, I'm Farah Ali. I am a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and dedicated advocate for my clients. My educational foundation is based in psychology and social justice, having earned my master's degree in social work with a dual concentration in community practice and clinical mental health. Driven by a strong commitment to human rights and social justice, I am dedicated to advocating for every individual I work with and the communities I am part of. My Core Principles as a Therapist: Focusing on Strengths & Empowerment: Central to our work is helping you to more deeply connect to—and really use—your inherent strengths. This means looking for growth opportunities where some might find roadblocks and accessing both internal and external resources to help you make the changes you want to see in your life. Working for Comprehensive Wellness: Therapy is a place where we can work toward mental and emotional wellness, learn how to foster positive relationships, and discover a greater sense of balance and ease in your day-to-day life. Promoting Connection & Authenticity: The relationship we have is vital, which is why I work hard to make sure our relationship is a nurturing space for meaningful growth. Creating Safety in Being Seen: I strive to make our sessions a place where every emotion is valued, encouraged, and supported—yes, even the “bad” or “undesirable” emotions. This is the space we cultivate together in our work, and space that is here to help you more deeply see yourself, and be seen in your authenticity.

Yes! If you use Independence Administrators you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Independence Administrators you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
